Just found your channel! So glad I did! There aren’t many high school English teachers on RUclips, and since that’s what I’ll be teaching, that’s what I want to see! I will begin teaching in January and I will also have a one year old and four year old. Seeing you with your kids gives me hope that I’ll be able to juggle mine along with teaching successfully!
I’m so glad I found you! I also teach sophomore English and theater in Florida. You have such exciting ideas and our personalities are very similar! Thank you for doing all that you do.
I’m am moving to middle school next year and decided to go full on flexible seating this year. I have always had lots of options but not a full flex seating classroom. I’m nervous but excited! Thanks for all your videos! Very helpful! Any tips for a newbie?
You make really good points. It was really interesting to watch you going through the process. Waiting for your feelings about actually doing flexible seating. :)
I can not tell you how much I love your planning videos! Your creative process in planning is very similar to mine. Many of the topics you have covered are ones I anticipated covering as well and will work for my students (I teach a 5/6 GATE class)..so thank you so much! Keep them coming! :) Also, a teacher mom...never took time off, but I remember those days when my kids were little and getting ready for school to start...it's tough! Now both kids actually go to the elementary school I teach at, so it's a bit easier but still so much to balance. :) Because, I struggle to transition back and forth between mom and teacher (summer, vacations) these videos really help to inspire me to get back to it!
Love these ideas! I may need to use this. School here starts in a week. I have an interview Monday for a position that's Hist & Eng. I have only taught gifted so I am super nervous but excited and hoping to get it. I know probably a lot of tmi but just had to share.
Love your ideas! Stealing a few because these style of activities will work perfect for my students. I'm using some LATIC routines this year with my 4th graders. What was the learning styles myth video you mentioned? I'm really interested in seeing that!
There's a 20 question multiple choice learning style quiz at www.educationplanner.org/students/self-assessments/learning-styles.shtml We've used it with students to explore different modes of learning, discussing how even if your score says one thing, that does not define you or limit how you can learn.

Great ideas always! Thanks ❤
I'm a junior in high school it's so cool to see the behind the scenes of the teachers jobs also entertaining while I do my homework.
Also, when will you upload this entire lesson? I love your idea for Station 1 and the MLA crossword
