How do you keep the alligators away from your chickens?
I'm currently in North County San Diego, 5.56 acres, 220+ adjacent acreage is conserved for the CA Gnatcatcher. Thought we would be able to enact cascading lined waterfalls, ponds, feeder edging, but alas, our constitutional rights throughout the entire nation/world has made breathing food forest evapotranspiration illegal. Trickling streams returning without the assistance of beavers. Perhaps I will sell my house, with adu, an entire living native mother nursery embedded into zone zero/one. In New Tampa I could buy 3 rental properties, and live in one of the properties, slowly enhancing my personal residence first, then selling it, upscaling, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again...while zooming along all day on my electric paddle board and SPF camouflage suit, playing pickelball, boxing (coaching/officialing pro bono online via my own online LBC), led via FRS principles.

I need acreage! I cannot be 10 feet from my neighbor. My past houses have been .25, .36, 1, and 8.5 acres. Tight living is not for me!!
How good are the schools in areas like this? I have a little guy, that will be starting soon.
