This blows me away, I could never in a million year get tired of watching this! It is a blessing to watch this man play drums! Cymbals were incredible and Eric makes them sound even better.
Those stacks are perfect. I have a couple and they always amaze me on how well they track / come across the microphones. All Paistes do. They come pre-EQed from factory 👍 -- Great drummer as well!
100% agree! Seems like some companies make cymbals that fail to translate well through microphones (they give off harsh frequencies/feedback) but you rarely get that with Paiste. Magnificent cymbals!
One thing that makes great drummers is instrument and sonic selection How good can you possibly be if its taken you this long to see that paiste is the finest of the fine !!!!!
I think it is all great, everything sounds unbelievably good, like.. crazy good. and then I get to remember that 8" splash is almost 200$, that's even crazier, you know.
Is it better to use a brass ozone on top, like on these stacks, because its more brittle? I been drilling holes in my brass crashes for years, especially the bright crash/rides for making custom ozone crash.
Paiste make some sweet sounding cymbals. They're best at that by far. Unfortunately they're also really one dimensional, with only one particular effects option (PSTs feel like cheap machined alloy), and their most "complex" option in the Dark Energy line being so over the top expensive and still way too sweet. Played Paiste for years, but there just wasn't enough diversity for me
For my ears I like the formula 602 and K’s , your not wrong about paiste, each formula has its own unique tonality, I’m sure the signature line would blend with anything, a set of those would make a good down payment on a house though
It's not the sound I go for either, I like an open drum sound. But it's what he likes and he makes it sound badass, I think. This is actually the most open I've heard his kit sound. He usually uses 3 or 4 drum dots or moon gels. And he only used one piece of tape on each drum in this video.
Hermano tus solos todos se parecen y es como si un viera a alguien practicando rudimentos si le añadieras musicalidad a lo que haces se escucha mejor...
Everything sounds great. The splashes are some of the best I’ve ever heard
I feel like EM can make any cymbal sound good, but I completely agree. That 6” Signature Splash sounds so much better than my 6” A Custom.

I can’t take more than a couple of minutes. The same repetitive chops over and over. Ugh….
This might be the best out of all cymbal promotion videos that i have ever seen in my life. Congratulations.
Great clarity and tone, microphones love Paiste cymbals.
Love everything EM does on the set. Love his interviews with other drummers as well! Rock on.
😊😊😊😊😊 he has a clean and crisp drum sound
Those splashes and crashes are more than awesome!

Fantastic playing.... are those the drums made from paiste alloys?

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎼👊👊
Those cymbals sounds great! Glad Eric is not playing them!
0:25 Mr Crabs walking 😅
Nice aux snare...

Why did you cover the drumhead brand?
Cause they're remo and he plays aquarian
@@johnny5.56 fair enough
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed this
Eric still use paiste cymbals? Rarely...
I love the dark sounds I’m not too fan of bright sounds

EM is sick btw. The dude absolutely thumps 👌🏼

@@stevolene Yes. I use Signature's / dark energy's & traditionals. Never dissapoint's me.
Them cymbals are singing
Eric. Can you. Do. A. Drum cover STING. SEVEN DAYS.
i like the sound but its a bit too clangy..
Sir Can you teach me please
No... This robot
Eric is awesome, but I’m not really thrilled about the dry sounding drums…

@@benjamind1286 that’s also not a DW like he usually plays either. Idk what kind of set that is
$570 for Dark Energy. Can't do it. Give me a break. Other brands, here I come.

Over 4 mins in before he even tries to go into some sort of groove and then of course it doesn’t last🤦🏻♂️
Great drummer. But man.. he definitely needs to lose some weight.
