Fastest Stock Yamaha FZS 2015 SVHO Waverunner With Candoo GPS Module

- This is a test run of my stock class FZS. Please excuse the length, but I left it uncut on purpose so there is no doubt of the shown top speed. I have installed the Candoo GPS Module so I'm showing how my speedo is now actually accurate. Also, my ski has got a worx cold air intake. Ribbon delete (restrictor), and also the RIVA SCOM. Last of all, just installed the Solas 13/20 impeller. I have noticed fantastic hook up compared to the factory impeller, and 5.5kph more top end. In Nepean River (fresh water) I usually do about 116kph as opposed to the ocean sea water which I get 118kph, and today I hit 121.5kph/75.5mph as seen on my gps and speedo. I can't wait to get it out to the salt water. It should gain another 2kph there which if it does, I'll be stoked.

Let me help everyone understand stock class means few modifications or alterations are allowed. The following are prohibited: spark-plug adapters; cylinder-headstuds; any grinding in ports or combustion chambers; removal of anyflashings; sandblasting or any other modification to cylinder heads;any film coating of intake and exhaust runners; any film coating ofcombustion chamber. The following parts he has installed falls under stock class.

Hey Spiz most people in the comments below are trying to educate you on what is STOCK and have been very fair and nice to you. Highly recommend. Go to Sydney Watercraft Center in Ermington. See Joe, or Stanley, or Claudia. Tell them Spiro (me) sent you. They will look after you 100%. Best ski ever. And you don't want to buy from anywhere else or deal with anyone else. They give the best service and support. Also, best yamaha pwc mechanics... Let me know when you buy one. We'll go for a ride. And, I rarely ride in Nepean river. It's to short. I generally go there for a quick water test...

well David, if you read the title, it clearly states stock! yours is clearly NOT stock at 85....

I really don't need you to like my ski. Some people do, and others don't. Naturally. The point of this video is to show novices like myself how easy a few simple changes and a scom can make a significant difference in the performance of the ski. Without spending the thousands you have to achieve 85. I'm not trying to break 80. I'm just trying to get the most out of stock as cost effectively as possible. I think I have successfully achieved exactly that......✌
Also, I challenge you to make an uncut video like mine. Show us your GPS at reset zero top speed. Then get your 85mph on it UNCUT and show us. Then I will believe that your ski is an 85mph ski. Also, it would be very nice for you to share with us what you did to achieve that speed. I'm sure there are plenty of us out there who would appreciate that sort of info. It's pointless to just make unsupported claims.... I can say my ski does 90......👍👍👍👍
+Spiiiz Stock is stock lol it's a bit misleading to say your ski is stock. It has multiple mods listed in your description. It's ok you don't have to admit that it's modified I'm not holding it against you.
What's the purpose of the gloves? Style points?
I first thought that gloves were only for racing and wankers. But, I tried them about 15 years ago and never looked back. They provide you with more grip on the handles and throttle. In winter, they keep your hands from freezing. And, yes, they also look good to.. I recommend them to all riders..👍
Even holding the hand out the car windowat relativelylow speeds will make hand cold. Must be much colder on a body of water going high speed, hands would be very cold
To make up for the lack of a speed being shown kr displayed or even mentioned. I have 2 2015 svho fx and they both run 75 if anyone is wondering. I imagine these are about the same but who knows.

quick question I just purchased a 2016 fzs I notice when you are on a dead stop and you hit it it feels like it is spinning I see that your does it to then it grips is that normal?
Hi. No, there is no cavitation now.. It used to with the stock prop. But now with the solas, it hooks up incredibly.

No. it is not normal. If you have not touched it or changed anything from factory setup, you shouldn't get any cavitation. Maybe, maybe a little tiny bit on take off if you are unlucky. But they are set up not to..
Stock means "as sold by the factory", as in you bought it at the Yamaha dealership, took it to the ramp and made this video. THAT'S stock! Yours is NOT stock. I don't know where you have come up with some silly definition, perhaps a racing definition, but for civilians it's exactly the way you bought it with NO MODS whatsoever.
So why don't you use a really good tool like Google and learn something. What you're describing is called "Showroom Stock"....
Mine, is not showroom stock. But within the limitations of stock class is very mildly modded.
Again, my purpose of this video was to show fellow enthusiasts what I have done thanks to their advice and recommendations which I am very happy with. Also, the point of the video being uncut is to leave no room for doubt of my claim. Unlike many others who post videos claiming big speeds in the 80's and then show a GPS screen with a reading. They could have done that in the car on the way to the boat ramp for all I know... I like to be honest and appreciate honesty...👍👍👍✌✌

I would consider the un-corked or unrestricted chip to still be stock as it is artificially slowed by the factory for liability reasons im sure, but cold air intakes, impeller pitch change , and any other item added for performance would make anything car bike jet ski modified and no longer stock. Such a big thing for boat guys to hide or disguise a motors level of tune (Hiding large motors by puting stickers or motor covers from smaller motors to sandbag a race) I suppose performance is pretty predictable on the water so theres some enjoyment to surprising people.

because no one has claimed a faster top speed for the exact same stock class specs. I welcome anyone to show me their RUclips clip like mine, demonstrating a top speed of 78+mph...

My stock fzs 2012 sho would do 72... Not a big difference in the new svho models
Wow. That's pretty good. Most guys I know with sho's usually top at around 68mph. Have you done anything to yours to get that speed?

My 1996 Yamaha wave raider 1100 will go 68 to 75, depending on the wind or current and waves. I have race 1200 and bet them easy.
I do not believe this if it has the stock 1050 cc block. I have a '96 Raider with 3 mm stroker and triple 44's built by Riva in '97. Mods program alone cost $10,000. Stock pipe. I still have the bill. Top speed (finally) was 69 mph on fresh water. It started off at 66 mph and Dave Bamdas at Riva finally got Tim Judge to re-work it to finally get the 60 on my Stalker Pro.

The fastest stock ski is the SEADOO RXPX RS 300 @ 73-74mph out of the box in Australia 🏁
And with just ECU remap and air does 82mph and on top of that its a 3 cylinder!!! POUND for POUND. CYLINDR for CYLINDER Seadoo produces the most power and torque than any other engine and that's dyno proven!!! Take one cylinder out of Yamaha and it would be the worlds biggest nugget! Seadoo will be bringing out the 4 cylinder in the next couple of years based on the horsepower of the 3 cylinder that equals 400hp stock🤔 what will Yamaha do??? That's a no brainier... just add another cylinder..😜
