My friends and I used to run security checks on accounts like that for our friends, and eventually made a business out of it. But it fell through. Couldn't keep up with the methods that these determined creeps would use. Men pretending to be women, crazy exs, helicopter parents, private Is, stalkers. Most of the time it was usually bots designed to collect private info.

When he found out I was dating someone, who’s now my husband, he got unhinged. He found my home address, my home phone, made a fake profile of me and friended all the friends I had on FB. He would call from several different numbers, Google numbers. I’d block his email and he’d make a new one. This was in 2013. I tried twice to get a restraining order but the judge wouldn’t approve it because he lived in a different state. He threatened to go to my mom’s house and do God knows what. He invited me to join a chat app about two months ago. I don’t know how he keeps finding me. I have no FB, IG, or Snap. He needs to give up already. It’s been 8 years. The only thing that puts me at ease is that I’ve since moved, changed my phone number, and I still live several states away. I live in an open carry state and I’m getting my CPL in March.

Umm, Okay...so...are you really going to leave us hanging with that weird situation with the story about the girl who lived in that big ass house, but the inside was weird and where the girl's friends came over for a sleepover and they couldn't figure out why the family was acting so strange, and why the parents were guarding them from seeing the rest of their house? why there was such a scarcity in that big house...i.e. no TV, bedroom off-limits, and where the bathroom (according to the narrator girl's perspective) seemed strange because it looked more like a "display" than a real functional bathroom...WTF? Did anyone else figure out the meaning behind that one story, and WHAT tf was really going on there? i thought, surely, there would be a revelation at the end about the whole thing...but nothing! REALLY?
Seriously! I was like WTF was that shit? My theory is that the house was for sale (but without a for sale sign in the front) and the family broke into that house and acted like it was theirs. Sometimes houses for sale have display furniture which would explain why it was super clean and neat and also why there was no TV. A display TV would not work so perhaps they were afraid the girls would catch on to something strange happening? And maybe the whole pizza situation was them trying to drug the girls in order to kidnap them or other horrible stuff. I don't know this is just my theory and would also explain why they kept apologizing to the girls including the one narrating the story.

It explains the lack of furniture, and house accessories. It's also said that they don't see their reflection in mirrors, and I'm guessing they wouldn't need to brush their teeth, so that explains the lack of bathroom facilities except the toilet which comes with the house automatically. The mirror could have been dismantled, or maybe it was one that didn't have a mirror to begin with (not all houses where I'm from come with all extra bathroom accessories, especially if it's a small bathroom. Like a half bath). The "bug bite" could have been a vampire bite. The draining of her blood would explain her exhaustion and nausea that led to vomiting. Whichever one bit her took too much blood which left her feeling slightly anemic~

That's not to say you can't use those kinds of descriptive words in a narrative it just seems like its less of an account of what happened more of a story from a book.
about the one with the sleepover; my assumption is that night after her friend got up and she had fallen asleep, they injected her with something from a needle. the "insect bite" was most likely the entrance point of the needle in which contained some drug to cause sickness, weakness, and nausea. i'm not sure what type of drug it could have been but there isn't any other logical explanation that i could come up with. if someone that sees this comment can come up with something other than a needle injection, it would be cool to see what you think as well. btw whoever sees this, i hope you have a great rest of your day/night, sleep well tonight, drink some water cuz you gotta stay hydrated, make sure that you ate something today, cuddle your pets (if you have any of course), and be safe

Story #2 and #16 are interesting. Not only because they were genuinely terrifying, but also because I'd heard a very similar story from a different perspective; And if they're both true accounts, like they've said they are, then that's extremely horrifying! The last one I'd heard was about a woman leaving work very late at night (I think she worked the night shift at a grocery store?), and she'd just gotten into her car, with no one immediately in sight, when two male children came out of nowhere at her driver's window. They'd had bright blond hair (think Village of the Damned) but she couldn't make out the features of their faces because they both wore hats, and kept their heads mostly down. They both seemed to be around the age of 8 or 10. If I remember correctly, they'd claimed to be lost and needed a ride to their neighbourhood, and kept asking to be let inside the car, but the lady thought that it was very odd and unsafe (first for them, getting in the car with a stranger, and then for herself as they persisted) and offered to call someone for them instead, which they refused and kept insisting to be let inside. What were two young children doing out so late in a nearly empty grocery parking lot? Why were they alone? Over all, I think she just had a feeling that she shouldn't let them in. After denying them several times, she ended up catching a glimpse of one of their eyes. They were pitch black with no pupil or iris. She freaked out and peeled out of lot and left. There was no mention of an older or taller figure, just the two blond boys with pitch black eyes demanding to be let inside her car. I feel like I've definitely heard that version before, but I'm honestly not so sure I didn't make this up in my head and just feel nostalgic or déja-vu-y about it, so if anyone else has heard of this version of the story before please comment!

There was no mention of an older or taller figure, just the two blond boys with pitch black eyes demanding to be let inside her car.
I feel like I've definitely heard that version before, but I'm honestly not so sure I didn't make this up in my head and just feel nostalgic or déja-vu-y about it, so if anyone else has heard of this version of the story before please comment!
