i really enjoy seeing that there is no magic or secret buttons. You take away the mystery and false information about slot machine mechanics and operation!
Hey there, love the videos. Quick question picking up an igt s2000 double diamond Deluxe with coin handling. How many quarters should I fill the hopper with to start? It's set up to pay anything over $100 worth on a ticket printer. Thanks.
@Home Slots Thanks. Out of curiosity what is the max capacity? I remember in the casinos they filled them with bags of coins. Excited to have out first machine. I'm looking forward to the old school coins. Thank you for an informative series of videos.
Man I love your videos. I wish there was more people interested in this hobby that lives near me. I have nobody to talk to about it because nobody cares.
Hey Marc I have a question for ya. If two low volatility machines” triple double diamond, & double diamond $10 denom “are both sitting next to each other in the high limit room, but everyone is playing the higher volatility like lightning link, would it be likelier to hit on the higher volatility since that is what everyone is dumping their money into…? I am thinking credits in = credits out scenario….
No, that's not how it works. People are dumping their money into those games because they either A) Enjoy High Volatility Games or B) Don't know what Volatility is. :) Machines do NOT take into account how much money has been played to determine future possible results. Each spin is a completely separate event.
@@HomeSlots Thanks for this info. I have avoided so many machines all because I thought if it was off to the side & not getting played, the machine wouldn’t pay out as good because lack of credits going in, you just cleared up years worth of a pointless habit I have had!!
@@albertwulff5792 Believe me, it's so easy to feel that way. I feel the same even though I know it's not true. It's just all part of the phycology of slot machines and how they draw you in. :)
It’s a myth that the gaming commission has to be present for changes…as you stated. That may have been true 10 or 15 years ago, but not anymore my friend. Professor Slots said that gaming commissions only care about average returns for their reporting period. That casino can change what ever they want as long at their average metrics are within the specified legal ranges. I’m not sure if you know him, but he has a lot of insight from the regulatory side of things.
Has Professor Slots spoken to active management teams at casinos? Because his information is not accurate. We'll have some interviews coming up soon. I assume he will probably say that casino management tells the public one thing and then does another, but that's up for the viewer to decide. I welcome Professor Slots to get more involved in the industry and bring on some experts to explain his knowledge and findings.
Having spoken to a number of industry professionals, experts, and various people with the American gaming commission, including the president of said organization. I think the info that is being presented is accurate and truthful. Perhaps other parties might want to follow up and confirm their opinions, before presenting them as facts.
We can all be respectful to others on RUclips. We can co-exist, but I have to argue that Professor Slots does not provide the burden of proof on what he provides to his viewers. If all of his theories are correct, then I welcome him to come forward and show us. However, he heavily moderates his channel, so asking him for this is a fool's errand, he just blocks it. All of his theories and concepts are based on limited sample sizes, which if you knew how slot machines work, you would know that is not a long enough sample to make any kind of determination of patterns. He's a scientist, he should know this and I suspect he does. We will not speak ill about channels here, but I do welcome any proof or additional information he can provide to back up his theories - I will of course do the same.
@@HomeSlots Not to my knowledge. Thats a good question. Thanks for your input. I will ask him. I would assume he does have some type of connections given his presence in the industry.
Fascinating video thank you Marc
Hey Marc, I hope everything is getting better for your sister in law. 🙏
It's been amazing, we will have an update video later today.
@@HomeSlots …Well I’m so happy to hear that!

Where do I fine a non working IGT Top Dollar to purchase?
Some day I hope you will be doing this on mine! 😀
Who are you guys lol? Look familiar

This is old machine. There is magic and secret on server based gaming. Taste configuration and rtp changes can be done on the fly.
Sorry Disregard my last comment. I was misled to believing that.
Any Top Dollar slot machines left for sale?
Just sold the last one. Keep an eye on the channel in case I get more in. Rare.
Thanks. If you get another one in please remember me, because I’m interested!!
Just a heads up, they run between $3500 and $5500 depending on version and condition.

I recommend at least 100 coins to keep it weighted down so it doesn’t have coin out issues :)

I don’t like seeing top dollars leave :)
you can visit mine once i get them setup in their hopefully new home (soon)
Speaking of tickets…can’t wait to get mine…taking it with me as a good luck charm to Atlantic City in November 👍
They went out Wednesday, so hopefully soon.
glad to see another one out the door. i am 100% certain the new owner will enjoy it and know you made it tip top condition.
Do you worry about static when your installing chips?
I don't, but I'm pretty reckless sometimes hahah! I've done the chip swap hundreds of times and never had an issue.

Why did you delete the videos about your sister-in-law?
We reached our goal and she is doing well. Didn’t want to continue to ask for money.
