To cut everything on day 1 itself .. Like I didnt used any social media platform !! But in RUclips I spent about 2 hours !! Last time I spent 6+ hours !! Today I'll reduce to 1 hr !! Benifits: like I had a good sleep ,I read a book,and I completed my half ln ! In zoology ,I solved about extra 10 sums today !! Pls comment me for an easy update On 3rd week I'm in Like I stopped using u tube !! Actually for me thats even more harder I found my position how I stucked in that !! At starting I used to take break for every 2 hrs after studying!! And continue to watch /spend in socials for 3 hours !! I started to constantly reduce my social time day by day Like 30 min . it made me to rethink y I can't complete my syllabus earlier ... Before let’s say you’re studying, you might’ve wanted to go on social media, and you would’ve done so or you would’ve used your willpower to keep studying. But now that you’ve been meditating for a long period of time, if you’ve got that “social media” thought it’s as if you dissociate from the thought so you’re more aware and less blinded by your own thoughts (especially the unhealthy ones) so you don’t act on it that easily. You should watch Hamza’s videos about meditation if you want to deeper your understanding

I've tried many times by uninstalling the apps, then first few days I also feel the same consequences but later on life backs to the normal. But the problem comes after a week when I feel now it's okay to reinstall the app and after reinstalling the circle goes on. Whatever! this theory of dopamine detoxing..actually worked for me,..Here's my journey --.Last to last week...I was so obsessed...with scrolling youtube & all .(I took the fact of being a netizen too seriously , ig) ..then i thought of doing this dopamine fasting procedure for a week so that I can do something which will turn out to be productive rather than wasting my precious time in scrolling youtube unnecessarily...& I started focussing on doing workout ..I took a week challenge...& to be very honest to myself, the DAY 1 & DAY 2 of my detoxing journey...literally became so hard for me that I thought of giving back....but I didn't give up..and trust me as the DAY 3 & DAY 4 approached, I started feeling better...& you know I got more interested in doing workout..Now you may think that why I chose for doing workout during my dopamine detoxing journey? Well, the answer is not only the face that Doing Workout is a low dopamine releasing activity but it also helps in boosting your focus or concentration...which eventually helped me to focus more on my studies. I am a second year MBBS student from government medical college ...I thought life would be chill after I crack entrance exam...but now the thing is I am in depression. I feel like I am in a loophole which can never be broken and I am stuck now. I am in severe mobile addiction also. For some day I feel like I can overcome this but after 2-3 days of motivation I am back to previous . There is no excitement of being in a medical college like it used to be when I was preparing for entrance exam. All I have is negativity around myself and question about my existence. Now I came to know why medical students do suicide.. Hope one day I can rise again breaking all the chains.

My dopamine is in learning things; even on social media, I mostly use it to learn things and discuss them with others online. However, this can be a hindrance when I need to concentrate for a long period of time. A proper schedule and planning, in my opinion, will be helpful for those who experience the same issue as me.
i wanna tell you about my success story about dopamine detox. i was in 9th and i wanted to score 95% and above...but i wasted whole year and i was left only with 15 -20 days . idk how i decided to keep my phone switched off and on it only after exams . i used to study from youtube and even youtube was a distraction for me so i decided to make a new account for myself and i subscribed only study related channel . i didnt study day and night in those 15-20 days but still ended up getting 96% . my friends who were studying for the whole year didnt even score 90% and above. i was so shocked at that time . since then i use this trick . mostly i use this trick for 1 month only .
@@studybuddies4267 there were many factors ! 1) dopamine detox ( try it yourself and see , it works like magic) 2) my friends were running behind guides/reference books and all . i stick to ncert . 3) as i was practicing dopamine detox ...even 6 hours of sleep was sufficient otherwise i take more than 8 hours to be fresh . 4) i used to revise everything what i studied, next morning even i was shocked when i saw my marks. it all goes to dopamine detox

I'm also a Science students but my screen time is usually more than this. Maybe bcoz I use my phone for academics also but I won't deny that I'm also a social media addict. But yeah when u aren't able to use social media for some days due to some it feels so stress free.

I've tried many times by uninstalling the apps, then first few days I also feel the same consequences but later on life backs to the normal. But the problem comes after a week when I feel now it's okay to reinstall the app and after reinstalling the circle goes on. Whatever! I found the video very helpful thank you for sharing the knowledge and experience.

this theory of dopamine detoxing..actually worked for me,..Here's my journey --.Last to last week...I was so obsessed...with scrolling youtube & all .(I took the fact of being a netizen too seriously , ig) ..then i thought of doing this dopamine fasting procedure for a week so that I can do something which will turn out to be productive rather than wasting my precious time in scrolling youtube unnecessarily...& I started focussing on doing workout ..I took a week challenge...& to be very honest to myself, the DAY 1 & DAY 2 of my detoxing journey...literally became so hard for me that I thought of giving back....but I didn't give up..and trust me as the DAY 3 & DAY 4 approached, I started feeling better...& you know I got more interested in doing workout..Now you may think that why I chose for doing workout during my dopamine detoxing journey? Well, the answer is not only the face that Doing Workout is a low dopamine releasing activity but it also helps in boosting your focus or concentration...which eventually helped me to focus more on my studies. I am a second year MBBS student from government medical college ...I thought life would be chill after I crack entrance exam...but now the thing is I am in depression. I feel like I am in a loophole which can never be broken and I am stuck now. I am in severe mobile addiction also. For some day I feel like I can overcome this but after 2-3 days of motivation I am back to previous . There is no excitement of being in a medical college like it used to be when I was preparing for entrance exam. All I have is negativity around myself and question about my existence. Now I came to know why medical students do suicide.. Hope one day I can rise again breaking all the chains.

Yesterday I completed the 7 days of dopamine detox.... it's just amazing for being confident. I had done a lot this week without wasting time uselessly in reels and shots ...and now I understood there is no need of listening to songs according to mood & situations😁😂and today when I opened my youtube after a week my finger doesn't went to touch the shots suggested at homepage😀.and the thing is, slowly accured gratification is more fulfilling than the instant gratification that we get from all useless things.thank you sir for this video it has been posted at the accurate time for me too🤝

My dopamine is in learning things; even on social media, I mostly use it to learn things and discuss them with others online. However, this can be a hindrance when I need to concentrate for a long period of time. A proper schedule and planning, in my opinion, will be helpful for those who experience the same issue as me.
i wanna tell you about my success story about dopamine detox.
i was in 9th and i wanted to score 95% and above...but i wasted whole year and i was left only with 15 -20 days . idk how i decided to keep my phone switched off and on it only after exams . i used to study from youtube and even youtube was a distraction for me so i decided to make a new account for myself and i subscribed only study related channel . i didnt study day and night in those 15-20 days but still ended up getting 96% . my friends who were studying for the whole year didnt even score 90% and above. i was so shocked at that time . since then i use this trick . mostly i use this trick for 1 month only .

2) my friends were running behind guides/reference books and all . i stick to ncert .
3) as i was practicing dopamine detox ...even 6 hours of sleep was sufficient otherwise i take more than 8 hours to be fresh .
4) i used to revise everything what i studied, next morning
even i was shocked when i saw my marks. it all goes to dopamine detox
