It’s the backpack I’m wearing called Memento. It’s an Exotic gear item, when you kill someone they drop the orange “kill confirmed” which adds bonus armour and also boosts damage for about 5 seconds. I’m a hoarder though 😃 so I always pick them up even when not in combat.

I’ve still not attempted it 😅 I’ll stick to Hard difficulty or Challenging. Just there for the story.
