The infected horde you saw at the end are runners, most common and they see and hear. The ones with the face split open are called Clickers, they can’t see but can hear. A whole lot nastier to look at and more of a b*tch to fight off. And as for that sick fungus smooch at the end, the idea is that Tess is already pretty much turned. She struggled to flick the lighter from the twitching and when that infected approached, they didn’t attack as it can sense she’s already infected. He essentially just finished the job and she can’t resist as her body is just about fully taken over. Which is why in that last moment when I assume she made the full transition into basically sitting in the passenger seat of her mind, I find it impressive that she willed herself to get that lighter to light as her last act of control. Dope reaction, In for a ride for Ep 3!
that's a take i never considered. i figured she froze.
Next episode is legitimately a contender for best 90 min of television certainly in the last decade and possibly even longer. looking forward to watchin yall watch it.

Calm down. Recency bias at its finest i swear. Its good, though. Ill give you that.
In the game sometimes you can hear the infected call out and scream and stuff as if they're talking. People think this is bc the person trapped inside is trying to fight the fungus but are always only able to get a word or 2 out. Like sometimes you might hear one yell "Help Me!" There is a popular clip of 1 in the game a soldier woman who's eating a soldier and u can see she's throwing up and she's crying and screaming. And sometimes if you listen closely you can hear her cry out a couple words like "I'm sorry!" Or "I don't want to!" Bc the soldier she is eating was probably her friend.
This was an intense episode. Great job on the writers and make up artist for the Clickers. The Clickers look very scary, especially when they do the clicking sound. RIP to Tess for sacrificing herself to allow Joel and Elle to escape. I'm looking forward to your reaction to episode 3. But anyway I hope you have a wonderful day. Get used to asking where the zombies are because that was me the whole season.
That's because it's not really about the infected. They're just used as a backdrop. It's really about the people and relationships and the lengths people will go to for survival and love.

Which made me think there was someone still inside of him, thinking in that expression of love like a kiss. For most is disgusting, for me is sad , for Tess and for that infected guy.
