Very impressive version - quite authentic to the original song and style. The band come in quite sympathetic too and all works great - except I can't help feeling the the band are playing major 3rd chords when the song is a minor key tune ? Someone in the band at least. It's subtle though to the point it's almost buried overall in the otherwise great homage to the original classic Skip James tune. I've just posted my own version of the tune and thought I was doing OK until I heard this !
When I found this album I could not believe I missed it the first time around. One of my all time favorites now.
