it's probably just nostalgia but I never gravitate towards the cool packaging, I just go for anything that loosely reminds me of something I'd see my mom buy

Sometimes it seems like Rhett is just looking for whichever one tastes the fanciest to call his favorite, whereas Link goes solely based on taste.

As someone who consistently chooses the cheapest olive oil at the store, I did NOT realize there was so much nuance behind olive oil. 😅
I also do this just because its reeally hard to find a *bad* olive oil

@@chelseahawk8396 Unless you're tasting them side by side olive oil loses a lot of its aroma when cooked, it really only matters when using it as a finishing oil or a dip.
Yea, biggest factor for it is if you make your own sauces or dressings, I like to mix my own vinaigrette for salad or pasta. Generally, I like a fruitier vinegar (I think my current one is rose’) with olive oil (any dark bottled Italian option really) and some seasonings. Otherwise, for just coating a pan we use the basic stuff in a plastic bottle as a “neutral” oil. 😄

what did i learn?
