WEDIVE Encounters - Curious Turtle at AUB wall

Arguably one of the most memorable moments we've had underwater with the most curious turtle we've ever met. We believe it was attracted by the red color of the fin strap and the camera filter...but we can never be sure.
For a couple of weeks after this video was shot, this same turtle was spotted every day at the same dive sites with similar behavior: it kept chasing divers and ended by biting a diver's fin. The only "scientific" explanation for such behavior of turtles is linked to mating season where male turtles might get aggressive. But then again, we can never know for sure.
