Good list. I would add a rechargeable oscillating fan. I got 1 off Amazon. I use it when the power goes out and it can recharge other small items. I also have rechargeable light bulbs.

I didn't even think of that! A fan would be nice when the power goes out

Crocs are the way to go, got 2 pairs, using one and the other one on reserve, flashlight, and bags for groceries are a must, I did not know, that mosquitoes are seasonal, in Central America they are not seasonal, being that is a tropical region, we got them, every day of the week, you need Off or other brand, to fend them off, regards from Boston MA!!

Mosquitoes don't technically go away during the winter but I hardly see them and rarely get bit during those months that are drier. When it rains they are everywhere though haha but yes crocs are the way to go 😂

I really love your videos. I found your channel around a week or so ago looking at videos about teaching english in the Dominican Republic for a project for my spanish class. You guys remind me of my boyfriend and I. Could I ask, how did you find a teaching job? I've been looking for jobs that include the salary but none do. Is there an average? I looked online for averages but it doesn't show what real jobs pay. Lol I had my boyfriend call his brother that's in DR to ask him to ask someone at his children's school 😅. Anyways, love your videos. I hope you and Yonny have a great day!

Awww thanks for watching! I came to the DR and asked around to find a school that was hiring 😂 that's how we found our apartment too. But the salary depends on the city and if it's public or private. My salary covers our cost of living and that's it really. But we love it here!
