    When you play that open E are you chopping through the B and high E strings?

      The first E is optional but you definitely need to play the B. I'm playing everything

      @@XyanGuitar Oh, alright. I was wondering how you mute the open E chord since you're not barring with your index - the B and high E strings will be left ringing.

      @@predeem1629 for that I'm slightly resting my palm on the strings. You want it to ring out just a little only because it's acoustic and you do not want it to sound too dry. Especially if you're playing by yourself

    I think you mean the 7th fret instead of 8th at 9:33
