So glad she didn't take the deal ! And turns out she didn't need them either. Cheekbone Beauty is doing really well and still expanding too. Jennifer was at my college on International Women's Day as a speaker and talked about her journey. And now I'm writing a blog post about her (it's part of an assignment in one of my courses)

Imagine your land being stolen and now you have pitch for bare minimum and people who made millions out of it can't offer you in thousands

Imagine acting butthurt about the 1800s in 2024 lol. If you have to do those kind of mental gymnastics to explain your lot in life...hahaha. Indigenous people owned slaves.

Its nice to show indigenous being successful on their own. There are no indigenous Dragons. Not only that but Dragons cant be experts in all different industries!

This is the clear picture of everyone who you think is a great human being because they have money, do you ever feel more ashamed?

She was smart not to take that sharky greedy offer.

Oh this was just such a disappointing episode to watch. I believe the Dragons could have helped cheekbone beauty without a doubt!

The product and the mission are fine, but the keywords are just too woke. I'm not sure if that somehow repelled the dragons.

The second you say the word woke unironically is also the second that you've lost all credibility as a decent human being

I'm anti woke myself but this is bringing awareness at least to me an American. She's willing to go to a larger market and not just cater and exploit being indigenous and profit off that. I'm proud of her

this was 2019, since then the company has taken off and is doing very well for themselves, without the dragons.

How devoid of any sense of empathy does one have to be to criticize a small company with a focus on uplifting indigenous individuals who have historically been taken advantage of? What kind of a psychopath are you?

You are not up to date, ma human. Cheekbone Beauty is doing exceptionally well, actually, and is still growing-Jennifer was at Seneca Polytechnic on International Women's Day to speak to female entrepreneurs (like a spokesperson, I guess?). In the end, she didn't need the Dragons, and I'm glad about that. And nothing is WOKE about that company 🤨
