I have a bunch of oak scraps, both red and white. Might try one of each.
Those are great options.
Thanks. I can use this. I will probably make the first one out of MDF just to make sure I get it done properly and then make them out of whatever scrap I have. I wll probably make a couple for 90 degree cuts and then maybe one for a couple of different common angles.
Making them for bevel cuts is a great idea also!
What a helpful video! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice, thank you! 😁
Thank you!
Thanks for the tips. I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I’ve learned a lot from them. I made some of the Christmas trees for my family; now the whole neighborhood wants me to make them some. The same with the wooden stars. I’d like to see more videos of you projects.
I plan on doing the throat plate as well. I think I’ll use a partical board. I’ve used it in the past and it works great.
I'm glad they are working well for you and that you have been enjoying the videos. I have some outdoor projects planned and coming soon.
That should work really well too.
BTW Andy, you remind me of Norm Abram. The NEW YANKEE WORKSHOP guy.
@@davepillow8478 Oh gosh those are some very big shoes to fill! I appreciate the compliment.
Thank you. That is very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
I think ima do mine out of the aluminoids.
That would be neat.
