- This is an unboxing video of the Toy Story and Beyond Woody! Jokes aside in the title and video, I really do like this woody doll and was excited to have gotten such a good deal. originally I was only going to get the guitar for some photo ops, but when I saw a brand new doll and everything for not much more I had to jump on the opportunity.

Always liked how different the head was on this Woody, gives me real "Shining Time Station" vibes (it was a weird kids show with creepy puppets). The body is interesting too, like it's a bootleg version of Woody or a "what-if" design more in line with how a 50's toy would look!
I just looked up that show and wow you hit the nail on the head on that one! hahah Its a face that grows on you after a bit. Its almost like a humanized/ toy version of woody hybrid. The body is definitely made like no other especially with their odd way of sewing the buttons on, but overall good proportions especially for what woody's body looked like in the 90s.
This Woody was the first Woody doll I ever had! I still have mine and all his accessories. Played with him so much as a kid, he unfortunately doesn't work anymore 😞

I feel like if Woody was based off an actual toy this is what the actual toy would look like.
Movie accurate Woodys are cool but this to me is what Woody probably would have looked like if he was a real toy from that era.
I think the head looks amazing, esp with the inside of the mouth painted, not sure why so many of them leave out the paint.
I think you make a really good point, my friend. This line really sticks out and as many jokes as I make in my video I think he is one of the most unique and well done Woody dolls we have gotten.

i may buy him in box one day cuz i already have 2 out of box. The toy story and beyond boxes are my favorite style and most nostalgic

The holes on top of the head is for air
I know they are for air, but there are a lot of complaints that there are holes in the back of woody’s hat since it’s an eye sore and not movie accurate so I was playing into that by saying well if you don’t like them in the back of the hats how about we put them on the top 😂

All the woodys I've had/have as of right now, i always been a fan of the woodys proportions and especially the head. when shopping for my Signature collection Woody i stumbled upon this one and made jokes that i wanted im. And well and behold almost about 11 months since then I bought this one. He's one of my favorites to use because of his lightweight (besides the boots...) and great body structure. He sticks from my Signature Woody, though i love that one i mainly keep him on a shelf because im afraid of destroying him. (And is it just me or does the majority of ppl find his face odd, but me on the other hand joke how "Handsome~" he looks, but all jokes aside his face gives off a sunny-type feel.)
I mean jokes aside he is a great woody. I too think his body is proportioned well and would only take a few tweaks to look quite movie accurate 😎👍🏼👍🏼

My first ever Woody Doll from my childhood that I still have to this day in my Toy Story Collection, and does still work (sadly missing the guitar though 😞).

Still have this Woody to this day! One of the best things I still have from back then, although, child me thought it was funny to snip off the pull string ring so he’s been voiceless for the better part of 10 years but, recently I finally got him out of my attic and gave him completely new string and ring, I’m very happy to hear him talk again since it’s been so long. The nostalgia bro, it be hittin hard!

@@CinemaToybox it was definitely a challenge, I’ll tell you that! Cuz there’s a spring that’ll pop out and cause pieces to unhook, so I had to get help holding the mechanism down while I threaded the string. Poor finger got pinched many times but it was worth it
I may be a weirdo, but i always see the good things on woodys and buzz lightyears that not a single collector wants, like this one, i can see how he can be both a useful hands base for a mod or a nice toy for a son, and also a nice woody to go around with knowing nobody will want to steal him unlike signature collection woody, who has to stay almost IN doors 24/7

I might soon make a mod out of a hasbro woody but really all i will do is give it the soft and huggable head, since it is going to be used as a toy I think doing more mods will make me have to play with him so carefully, so that is why it is going to just be a head swap, like 2019

I remember my grandpa got this exact Woody doll for my birthday many many years ago sadly I don't have him anymore and my sister broke the strings on his guitar

I am going to keep him as is. I was leaning towards that but if enough ppl really wanted me to customize it I would consider it. Seems like most ppl are feeling how I feel and keep him.

@@CinemaToybox I also recommend changing out the voice box because Hayden from little green alien said it’s really hard to head swap with that voice box so I recommend getting the voice box you got it from their distributor with the slow retract pull string

Believe it or not it actually was hahah that face may say otherwise, but he was part of a Hasbro run of Toy Story figures. They definitely stand out for better or worse, but I really like this woody doll. Check out the toy story and beyond Jessie; she looks even more funky than woody here does imo.
