I remember how astel got to collab with sumire for the 1st time in sumire's channel(we got to listen astel's nyaa with sumire's cat), and we got to see these two again as duo is really wholesome ngl. Also there's funny chaotic part too lile how they kil team natsume and team tie at early is just pure comedy. since this is just apex duo party, of course this one is a fun too ngl(also rip arupapa getting killed by astel while rikka got killed by izuru) Edit: also glad astel and sumire got champion on 1st round
I was excited when I saw Sumire duo with Astel again in a tournament. I saw them collab before in a ranked apex stream with someone (LEIA I think), and they were pretty much the same as what you can see in these clips. Sumire is just such a carefree airhead that she can fool around with Astel so easily, and it brings out the "gaki" side of Astel. Sumire finally found a trump card against OreApo.

Sumire is comfortable with most people but she takes her time gauging them first. She was like that in this collab with Astel for the first few minutes as well as Kanae but got comfortable after 5-10 mins. There are some which she doesn't go all out like with TST during vsaikyou 2(she's still has fun with them though, just not in her usual teasing way).

Even the VSPO management pushed the "ship business" If holostars is okay with those, it'll introduce problems, especially with their idol image. Having girls as friend is different with ship business. Gunkan and oreapo is ship business (we dont know if theyre really dating, but that's the charm of it)

As others previously stated, its more or less the Hololive JP, cuz the majority of them are introverts is one of the reasons, the personal feelings is important after all. Theres also the toxic idol culture, that steers them away from such things, hell there are even instances where JP talents 'throws them under the bus' or pretends they never interacted with each other especially the Holostars that have graduated. Only, the earlier gen who are not that much of introverts have consistently collabed with Stars, and they arent that much afraid or doesnt care about toxic idol culture that much
Once holostars got their flock of gachikoi fans like hololive then goodluck with that people forgot holostars are idols too. So far right now their gachikoi fanbase is small.
