This game was so good! It was really sad seeing the dream king struggle to stay alive. He was the only overseer who broke the rules, and was genuinely afraid of passing away like the others.
yeah would be nice to see their ghosts as a finale goodbye or something to be honest. especially talking to dream king saying: '' hey man we did it. Not the earth song we harmonized the world!'' And what would he even answer with oh boy
I absolutely agree. This game is a masterpiece on so many levels. Its relaxing and adventurous at the same time.

I have no idea if to be sad or happy tbh. Because the thing is, she never even had a friend. So having a friend may be better than a lover tbh. But my shipping soul also cried a bit
Do we even know she was romantically interested in them? No.
We do know that near the end she said they were the only friend she ever had and that they inspired her to be a better person, to connect to others and I don't think it is in any way less than if they had a romantic relationship.
The bard showed Miriam that connecting with others is something worth while, and so she opened up to the world and was the head of a choir made up of the voices of every living being singing together.
There's actually a bad end. If you sing the Overseer songs for the first 3 acts early before you "unlock" them, you don't make the friends you would have and can't sing the finale song. The game just cuts to credits after Audrey kills the Nightmare King.
When I played this part on my xbox it made me cry
It's a classic trope, but I love that the Bard ends his journey right where it began: In his house, ready for bed.
I have never played this game, yet the pure. Raw emotion radiating from this song. Almost made me cry.

At 24:25 the game's composer, AShellInThePit, appears in the crowd. He's got a cap on and he has reddish/brown hair and a full beard. He's standing right below the Rulle King's assistant.
I loved the ending, but I wished it would of given Audrey actual closure as she completely disappeared after killing the Nightmare King.

Her song didn't sync up with the rest of the universe so she got yeeted
It's sad. She couldn't see beyond the glory and respect a hero got to realize that there was a different way to save the world.
The universe was saved, and everyone got their wish it seems. Audrey seemed bent on living in a world where she was number one forever with no challenger, so she probably got it by being left abandoned in the void where the only thing that exists is her thus making her number one forever in a place where it has no value.
Alexander Newman I like to think they're still around in self contemplation about what they've done considering it was Bard who truly saved the world.

I know how to fix it! Just press the xbox middle button when the black houses above of the crater appears and goes down to the crater, this part at 16:20 shows where it bugs, when you see this part, then go to any app, it must be an app or it wont work, wait for a while or longer and return to the game and Boom, it worked for me so i hope this helps :) (sorry for my bad english im a brazilian)

i’m glad they didn’t. it’s so cliche that the 2 main characters fall in love. i’m glad they remained friends. not every relationship has to be romantic.

Honestly despite all the horrible things Audrey done to the Bard and myself, I still feel some pity for Audrey, her only real crime was following goddess Eya orders.
if we met her earlier in the game we could've reformed her at the end. Then again maybe the moment she got the sword was when she was never going back.
Her tragic flaw was her not wanting to share the title and power of being the "hero". She was scared of what would happen when the overseers were gone, but.With her refusing to sign the song, she both doomed herself to eternity in another realm while also forever securing her legacy as a hero forever.
I still think it would be nice to see what happened with Audrey Redheart at the end, I know the reason it got ignored is that it probably would've have soured the happy ending. Even if the ending is Eya rewards Audrey for her work by taking her to some version of heaven, the player she never gives up her ego would be interesting.
Honestly surprised Eyala didn't get more flack from outright misleading the both of them and she kinda gets off scot free at the end just to tell us "congratulations, I'm proud of you" etc esp since it's like eating her words on "lmao the earthsong isn't gonna work"

i'm pretty sure the fight adds extra effects over time such as when audrey deflects a star the first time
like omori's ALTER VOCALS. They even add another section to the song that isn't in the playlist/youtube version of the song
actually it's more of amping the instruments that were originally in the song

I encountered a bug where, when you look into the Crater, this one tone thing starts playing over and over, and the second time you go through the order overseer, it glitches out and will not work
Edit: thank you Billy bobby for the fix, i cleared my save data in an attempt to restart but thats good to know now!

The ending (specifically the part where you do all the stuff you did before *twice*) definitely could've been improved, in my opinion. Personally, I think it woulda been a lot better if it did another song bit, like "I wanna be a hero" or the song the pirates had; but it'd start off with just you singing and more characters joining in through the song.
but hey, I'm no game developer, and no song writer.

Cactus Companion Yeah, I think they could've done a bit better there, but it's nothing too bad. The game overall is really something special. Just something to note for future games.
I have to disagree the song they picked for this scene touched my heart, and made me cry full of emotions, it felt like an action movie to me, was truly fun but that’s my opinion
