  • Geometric dimensioning & tolerancing is a symbolic language used on engineering drawings and models to define the allowable deviation of feature geometry. This video demonstrates how to add GD&T to a model and drawing in Creo. Learn how you might:
    • Create an annotation plane
    • Use combination states
    • Add tolerances
    • Add datum targets
    • Show notes, finishes, and symbols
Visit www.ptc.com/mbd for more information on GD&T!

THIS IS HELPING TO REPLACE 2D DRAWING WITH 3D DIM

If your organisation/downstream stakeholders still require 2D drawings, you can get those from the 3D models, but, yeah, putting the 3D model at the centre can bring significant benefit to the company and suppliers. (And it's worth trying to get everyone to make process changes.)
