The Great Flood of 2023

July 10 & 11, 2023 saw the most extreme rainfall and flooding since 1927. This exceeds the 2011 Hurricane Irene Flood and the 1992 Flood.
According to environmentalists, what used to be a 100 year event is now a 62 year event.
Beyond the damage and reparations, small businesses and farms will suffer crippling loss of income, spoiled crops and diminished income from tourism.
