    There are so many reviews of the T7 but this review is just above and beyond them.. since 90% of the people wouldn't do hard core off road and somehow every review seems to be geared towards that. Thanks for covering the topics which actually matter to riders like myself 😊

    As a new rider who just picked up a T7 last week, I feel the review is spot on. I am 6'4", the main draw to the T7 was its size and simplicity. I did not want to have a lot of sensors and electronics to worry about issues with, nor did I require a lot of adjustment and power settings.
    It has enough adjustability for a novice to learn from, and enough power that it doesnt feel underwelming. It actually feels like it has plenty of jam to pass on the highway and in no way do you feel like the bike is struggling. My only complaint on the highway was wind noise, but thats due to my height and not the bikes fault.
    My first impressions offroad were actually comfortable. The tires were adequate for FSR use, but for more trail oriented riding, I would definitely suggest something more aggressive.
    In summary from an inexperienced rider, if your a taller and even larger rider, I would check the T7 out. It seems to fill the "all rounder" field nicely.
    Thanks again for the review, I especially liked the sound clips comparing stock vs akro...definitely on my to do list.

    I had to sell my T7 when I left the US. This review is one of the best on this bike. It was so easy to gain confidence off road with this bike, but it was also a superb daily ride. Whenever I settle back down somewhere, I'll definitely get another T7.

    Excellent and thorough review. I've watched hours and hours of Tenere 700 videos and didn't know the foot shift lever and rear foot brake lever fold back to prevent breaking. Thank you for doing a review that just didn't cover the "superficial" things. GREAT REVIEW. I also loved that in addition to discussing the features, you covered both the on and offroad capabilities of this bike. For me, the majority of my riding will be paved secondary roads, and from time to time gravel roads. I like that even though im not on logging or fire roads, I could ride on those if I wanted to. Having a T7 to me hopefully makes me feel like I'm riding a swiss army knife. It has the capability of doing just about anything if I need it to. I just ordered one and will hopefully pick it up May of 23. I'll have to drive 600 miles to get it but they are so scarce that I don't mind. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AWESOME REVIEW!!!

    All motorcycles will decelerate when you hit the kill switch while traveling down the road, in gear, with the clutch engaged. The kill switch cuts ignition (spark).

    • @MotoTribeTV
      @MotoTribeTV  Год назад

      That makes sense. I used to hit the kill switch and coast down the drive way coming home from work at odd hours of the morning /evening all the time so my brain is primed to expect the same outcome. What makes this weird is how it happens. It doesn't cut out immediately, it has this odd delay to it. Almost as if it gives you time to thumb the starter and get it going again in case you hit the KS in error. Weird... - Josh

    This seems like a yamaha add??
    I own the 22 T7 and if he actually put down some miles. Shifting is notchy unless you ride cruisers then ok better than that. Im hoping switch to synthetic oil will help. Down shifting quickly it can lock in neutral. Note for heavier riders , you'll need buy springs for your weight. It's sprung for 168lbs. Rider and the seat stock is almost like a rock. Thin. This video not even close. But still love my T7 after mods.

      Hahaha we'd love to get paid for these! Unfortunately there's no money in that. As for the bike we had on test, we had 4 different riders give their feedback and we all came to the conclusion you see in the video. If you don't agree with the video it's all good, we all experience life and motorcycles differently✌️ Have a great day!

    Pretty nice vid, but why did you put 690 in the competition sheet instead of 890 or 790 is beyond my understanding.

    • @MotoTribeTV
      @MotoTribeTV  Год назад

      Simply to add an option that leans further into hard off-roader and how it would compare in terms of price point and specs. This allows us to better cover the full spectrum. But the KTM 790 /890 would be great options as well!

    • @ERUtheWINDRIDER
      @ERUtheWINDRIDER Год назад

      @@MotoTribeTV I pointed this out because the 690 is the only single cylinder bike in the list, and the obvious [to me] competition should have been another bicylinder bike from the KTM offering.

      Not really. As pointed out by others, seat height isn't that much of a problem. The only time it really becomes an issue is if you put your foot down and the road slopes away from you or trying to back the bike up while seated. Apart from that, you should be fine. If it really is the bike you want, you'll find a way to work around it. ✌️
