Hey WarMaps! I just wonder if you could make a map were Ukraine is colored blue, like not the actual country but the attacking color? Zelensky was actually smart bc invading Kursk delays any peace negotiations and Zelensky can have a excuse to still be the president of Ukraine bc his presidential term expired long ago and the only thing keeping him in power is martial law.

For Ukraine unless they strongly believe a deal is possible I don’t see how this is a good long term decision. Long term Russia will cutoff the salient and crush the pocket and the gap might push back the whole line. For Russia they can take Donbas and Donetsk and just hold in Kursk to get Kursk back later. Putin has held his election and can control the governors he has atleast one year of supplies and then they run out.
You are wrong, I speak as a Russian. Putin would rather destroy the economy even more and raise the key rate to 30% than end everything so simply. My forecast: Putin has the strength for 2025 and 2026, but Ukraine does not, because it is already conscripting 18-year-old children. It will be bad for us after the war, but it will be even worse for Ukraine
