Hey whats up man, I'm looking to buy a 2009 Civic si. It come with Hondata already just like yours. My question is, should I be worried about buying a car that could have been not tuned correctly and made the car run incorrectly? or what should look for when buying a car with hondata?

Sport short ram and Skunk2 alpha header and fatback skunk2 mega power. should i just select the regular option ok the flash pro, download that to my hondata and transfer(program) it to my car? is it really that simple? just don't mess with the calibration basically if you don't know what your doing? just wondering thank you!
Hey man thanks for Commenting! So yes Hondata is made to Pro tune hondas on Dyno or street. There should be a pre calibration for your mods but I wouldn't mess with it! You have to be really precious with that! Ask a Tuner to hook you up!
So af off right now. i have a skunk2 catback. and planning on buying skunk2 alpha header and probably a d.c. sport intake... so if i buy flash pro and use their pro tune on their, i should be okay? without having someone (professional) tune it for me?? Just not wanting to spend more than I already have to spend haha.. Thank you again kind sir!

Well I put on the pre calibrations like a dummy! The maps weren't the correct maps for my car. My buddy just tuned mine car. Made it more responsive the knock sensor does flash so often but nothing to worry about

Will it still work for my car if I bought a used one that’s already been registered to a different car?
no, you have to take the used hondata and unmarry it from the old ecu from the different car. right now its a brick

im about to purchase mine from us bluetooth version, will it work in canadian ecu
so do i have to keep it in the car at all times when i download the tune? or can i take it out after ive programmed the tune in?
