Really like these videos. These are some imposing building, with better upkeep and maintenance a lot of these would continue to be viable without becoming dumps / being torn down.
Wow, what a place this tower blocks... Nice these elevators to find. How disappointed this place is gone soon, huh?!! 😕 Poor tower blocks are gonna be worst is hell of it! 😔
Good channel my lad, subscribed. Have you went up any of the high rises in Muirhouse, Edinburgh? Martello Court is one you should check out if you have the chance. It's 22 floors
The Dumbreck Court blocks (as well as Ibroxholm Oval and the now demolished Tarfside Oval blocks) were built with maisonettes inside (basically flats which take up 2 floors), hence I believe why the floors which aren’t served by the lifts only have 2 flats
I see now so the long corridors that had 10 flats were the maisonette flats and the other floors had 2 flats on the floor itself pretty cool/weird flat design
When this video was made Covid face masks were still mandatory and as it's a tower block with loads of people using the close everyday that sign was just so everyone who comes into the block keeps themselves and other residents safe from the virus
a was skiing in bellahouston slope and saw the lights on this, great video J T

My uncle used to live in these flats confused me the way the floors worked
