  • This is our 3rd aerial video of the restoration of Firbeck Hall which has a very interesting history but stood empty and very much abandoned from the 1990s until recently when One Construction / Buckingham Homes took on the huge project of restoring and converting the property into apartments.

    Good to see that it's been saved. I spent six weeks there in 1979 when it was a rehabilitation centre following an Industrial injury

      Hi David, thanks for the comment, much appreciated. it must have been very different when you were there with (I'm guessing) all the original fixtures and fittings still in place. If you have any photos I would love to see them. best wishes Nick

    Great that they didn’t demolish it to build an estate of sole less boxes
    And that it will live on in use

      It was very much touch and go with the hall Mick, it had been abandoned to the elements for nearly 30 years and had to be gutted on the inside but the developers are doing a great job of keeping the "look" of the place and giving it a new life
