Yrs ago i ran around a frozen /reffer warehouse for about 4 yrs. Other operators and 1 would have friendly competitions to see who could pick a truck quicker. One pallet that i went to grab was three double levels up and one spot back. At that point your just using touch through the forks. Thought i was good and cut the bottoms off every can of whipped cream on the bottom layer of boxes. It was blowing whipped cream out like it was snowing. It took 3 hours to clean.
oh ive messed around alot one time someone left a pallet on the other side of a rolling door and i went out that door and ran over the pallet and didnt stop, pick it up with the forklift and tossed it into the hopper or picking up a 8ft stack of trim boards at once long live toyota 8FGU32 I used a Raymond. hated yale my whole career, hysters are boats and crown steering wheels are weird

Yeah, he has experience. It takes time. But if you put the time in, you can get pretty good at it. It's like flight hours. The more hours on it you put in, the better you'll get. It's all about getting comfortable. And getting a feel for it. Now this all also depends on having good functioning forklifts as well. I know some will say he's breaking some rules. But if you drive one of those, usually you'll have to move pretty fast. And when you get comfortable enough, you can do a lot of maneuvers safely.
I operate a Raymond high reach liftctruck with expandable and retractable forks that can lift approximately 3,500_4,000 pounds up to approximately 20-30 feet off the ground. That gets wild with heavy loads the higher up i get
Technically, in a perfect world you don't maneuver with an elevated load. But with experience you figure out if it's safe depending on the load quality.
@@da1uheardabt I'm not sure I understand, if you can't put the pallet away without turning while raising how are you able to back out after the pallet is placed?
The Crowns are the best. They are bulletproof. Very sturdy and smoother than some others I've experienced. Toyota was ok too, but this yellow piece of shyt at the job gets no love 😅 I hate getting stuck with that thing.

He’s using a rc5500 this one is a bit more tricky than the rm6000 (reach truck) that one can make turns more easier. Tho the one I dislike is the rc5500 with the clamp attachment, ya gotta be very careful with that one.
It's so funny, all these videos popping up with fork lifts like it's a new invention 😂😂 We have all known for many many years that these have existed. The titles should say " narcissistic men finally get a job and need everyone to know"
These are cake machines to operate. Run a 10-15 k machine unloading multiple trucks of Sheetrock running 10-12 lifts high in a warehouse. They wouldn't be moving this quick.
No observations, turned at hight, travelled with a raised load, travelled with the forks raised👍

I can tell who has and who hasn’t driven a fork in a production warehouse before in these comments 😂
I've observed many drivers at multiple different types of warehouses and some people drive safely while others don't
Right this is standard at a production based dc if you want that $$
Isn’t unsafe for you to raise the forks while Turning? I thought the proper way was to line it up then raise the forks up....
U can raise as ur turning as along as u go at a slow pace
I wish they give you time to line up, damn companies want everything done asap

Best of luck man they are so easy to drive! Which one you going to be driving?
This is the one I get to drive, we use it to take pallets out of trucks. It makes better turns
I can do that. Only difference is it would’ve taken me 5 mins

Is the steering on this inverted?
When driving forks forward yes, but when driving forks dragging how you are supposed to then no it’s like a normal car

7/10, three hesitations to adjust height, scrapped the rack when putting in the pallet, always looks behind before backing up 👀
What factory is this located? Looks familiar.
Carrollton Texas
Very good. 👍 please make more videos like that

That was smooth, except for the dangerous spin at the end. Don't do that people!
we use these little Crowns on the dock to unload and separate freight
The forklift cries very loud
Turning with those forks in the air is a write up. Do that in my warehouse and I’m pulling you off ya lift!

THIS. this is probably the best ive seen being put on my feed for forklift driving
no unnecessary safety risks
An oversized load being carried correctly in reverse, dont see that on my feed often 😂
Maneuvering and lifting the load is sometime necessary in some very narrow aisles you just cannot line it up it's too narrow
Great job 👍.. not easy work
I drove one of these for the first time today. The steering is so confusing
That's the same 1 I drive
Lol me too
Fired!
I almost get run over by these in tons of factories I inspect 🧐

Sharp turning?
Turning with elevated load?
Too much back tilted at night?
Turning 180 degrees when forks are lifted too high? 👏👏👏 nice..🤣
