(not a spoiler because they are already finished on patreon) love that you guys already picked up her issue is way more mental. a lot of reactors get upset when she takes the metal out and it doesnt fix everything.
I don’t get that like I love what she says later on about it that essentially it will always be with her but she can now except it and move on , I like that she isn’t instantly healed and it shows that ppl hate on korra just to do so , like they call her a Marry sue that has no problems but when she shows signs of struggle they call her weak but it’s pretty plain as day , like she goes through massive character growth, it’s may not always be in ur face and as obvious , unlike some other characters such as zukos but it’s more subtle. And if u pay attention u can see it
I like how patient they are with her. It was frustrating for me watching it the first time (and a lot of reactors, as you said) seeing her not heal instantly both physically and mentally. But we know that's not how things work in real life. I've come to appreciate that a lot more during my rewatches.
There are some great conversations between characters in this episode. I die a little inside whenever I hear Bolin repeat that propaganda from Kuvira though. Too real.
Not gonna lie, even through multiple rewatches i still agree with Kuvira. If i was an earth kingdom citizen i definitely would be okay with her running things. She did provide protection and she was logical in a rule. She wasn't a butcher she wanted the earth kingdom united under one regime and the end of Monarchies.
Due to budget issues they had to scrap Kuvira backstory episode and in its place they relesead a recap ep reusing past season clips. You guy's should watch it, but posting both 8 and 9 at the same day would be best for the audience.
I think the remember episode still is good as it’s funny and it gives us a little insight from other characters even tho small it’s still there and is nice to see
As a Frenchman, I can't help to draw some parallels with French History. Just after the French Revolution, Napoleon climbed the ranks fighting royalist insurrections and belligerent neighbors. He was made general and almost singlehandedly won the Italian campaigns against Austria. His coup d'état against a corrupt and inefficient government lead to what most of my countrymen consider one of France golden era. Mind you, Napoleon also did terrible things to keep power and he definitely was a dictator. Kuvira is doing the same here. She worked hard to stabilize a crumbling kingdom and foreign powers were trying to put an unpopular and easily manipulated royal idiot on the throne. Her methods need some work but her reasoning makes sense.
It’s episode 8 it’s call “Remembrance” it’s literally Mako, Korra, and Verrick retelling the events of book 1,2,3 from their point of views, but you want to watch it then post episode 9 at the same time or later in the day when you post episode 8 or you can just skip it entirely
I wouldn’t call it important plot-wise but I still think it should be watched. Like skipping the Great Divide will make you feel left out when you see so many people in the fandom making jokes about the episode. It takes away from the viewing experience. There’s worse things than watching a sub-par episode of a show you otherwise enjoy.
I don't know how far ahead you are on patreon, but please don't skip the recap episode. It's a clip show, but it's filled with original content with the characters conversations.
@@JinoraMijy lmao, not even close. Varrick's segment alone is already way better than that boring ass episode, and then there's Korra's segment that reflects on all her character development throughout the seasons.
Not only that, but it came to be because not only did Nickelodeon/Viacom cut the budget for Book 4 compared to Book 3, but they cut the budget AGAIN midway through Book 4's production. So Mike (Michael Dante DiMartino) and Bryan (Konietzko) had 2 options: either fire a bunch of their crew and staff -- people who relied on their work on LoK to make an income; or put in an episode that required minimal extra animation, which is to say a Clip Show. Nobody liked it, but Bryke felt (and many fans agreed with them once they found out about the situation) that option #2 was clearly the superior choice. So, even if 4x08's content didn't warrant a reaction, I'd say that all those people who got to work until the end of the series -- as well as, to a somewhat lesser extent, Mike and Bryan for making that call -- certainly do warrant one. At least I think so.
The dreaded recap episode has its funny parts. It is NOT as good as Ember Island Players which I think is the best recap episode ever. But it has some good moments. Worth watching for the few chuckles. Especially Bolin's tale (as told by Varrick).
Why the square of the video is transparent at the top and only at the bottom is colorful Hard to see like this I would be very happy if you could fix it❤

ffs that was supposed to be a Kuvira backstory episode? why were we denied this greatness >:
@@JinoraMijy Blame Nickelodeon.
Toph: "do you really think friendships can last more than one lifetime?"
Aang: "I don't see why not!"
I like how they have made korra less muscley as she has not been as active due to her injurys it’s shown
Aang first sighted Toph in the swamp. That's where she decided to settle.

Episode 8. Its Called Remembrance. But I recommend watching it.
Please watch every episode. Every episode is important.

Volume of the show is wayyyy too low guys!! Please adjust in future videos, thanks!! 😁

Nah don’t skip it, just do two episodes that day if you can. It’s still an important epsiode

They should at least see Varrick's part. If nothing else it was hilarious
@@Izanagi-Okami how is it still important? (genuinely curious, i havent watched it in a very long time)

12:10 agree😅😂😂😂
Brits trying desperately to not associate the Prince character with IRL royalty 😂
The prince is my favorite character
I find how he tortures Mako (my least favorite character) really endearing
Why they always make the bad guys so pretty? Jeez

Really minor detail but aang died sokka as in season 3 it's mentioned that sokka protected korra when the red lotus attempted to kidnap her
the filler episode is like 8 or 9. i cant remember
When Aang saw toph in the swamp in ATLA, now Toph lives in the swamp... She meant to be there
💙
watch every episode. Please.
