Getting it when I just came out or preordering, it was $20 to $30, which ever the standard price was. It’s a cool figure. If it had an alternative regular hand that would have been great.
I had no interest in this figure until I went to a Target and saw the Platinum Edition on the peg. I thought it looked so badass that I just had to get it. In my opinion, it is one of the few Platinum variants from McFarlane that is head and shoulders above the standard version. I still want them to make a classic Cyborg Superman. I have the DC Direct classic Cyborg, but it is noticeably smaller than McFarlane's, and his DC Multiverse is about 95% of my collection.
I really like The New 52 Cyborg Superman figure. It looks really good. I like the head sculpt. Cyborg Superman definitely has a Terminator vibe because of the Endoskeleton and red eyes. I also like the mechanical arm as well. The paint application is clean for the most part. The sculpt is solid. The figure is nicely articulated. However, I would've preferred a cloth cape instead of a plastic cape, but that's just my opinion. Nice work on the part of McFarlane Toys! By the way, Amazon is currently selling the figure for almost $40, which is way better than the inflated $70 or $100 price tag. Thanks, Spot! As always, I really appreciate it! I don't like this design. I will always be an original Cyborg Superman fan. I like the 1/4 face Cyrborg Superman best, just the ONE EYE. It looked sad to me somehow, until he revealed himself to be an @$$HOLE iteration of Hank Henshaw, then it loomed angry and evil. Dastardly F@#!ER!

I didn't get this figure. I bought the MAFEX Cyborg Superman instead. It's a heck of lot more expensive , but it's a great figure.
