Absolutely legend! I don't like the term "character actor" because at the end of the day, they're just actors, but he is one of the best of that category. I met William Forsythe at the State Fairgrounds here in North Carolina he was a great man to talk to and I will believe that he was an Elvis fan and that is what I loved about him he was a great man to talk to I hope that he comes back to North Carolina again because after seeing the Elvis biopic I want to get an album for him as my way of saying thank you for respecting the memory of the king
One of the best things they did with this film was to be able to cast William Forsythe as the sheriff. Must not have been easy. But on a horror film, and one with this much centre focus and protagonism on all the bad guys, the good guy character is fkt, unless it is played by a solid, powerful, scene-carrying actor.

Rob Zombie had wanted to make a Groucho Marx movie for years, but could never get it off the ground. This was his way of sharing his fandom and adding a weird creepy element to the Firefly family. They're psycho rapist murderers, but they're also fans of those silly old comedies, so much so that they use marx brother names as criminal aliases. In their scrapbook of murder photos they've got pictures of Groucho tapped next to the victims. In their mind, everything they're doing is just clowning around.
Whenever I see that actor Robert Trebor (the movie expert) I'm always reminded of his role in 52 Pick-Up. He's so good at playing those sniveling kinds of characters lol
The way Sheriff Wydell looks in the thumbnail reminds me of the famous Guy Fawkes mask from V for Vendetta and used by the infamous hacker group, Anonymous.
Man! Seems like, at one point or another in this movie, almost everybody is mad at everybody else! There's arguments breaking out all over the place...which is kind of...well... genius! It gives this movie a lot of tension to work with, but, through the tension and arguments and problems that arise, there's also an ends to a means.. which results in getting the main Fireflys "taken down", they being Captain Spaulding, Otis Driftwood, and Baby. They end up so shot up, that they all look like human pincushions, after being hit with all of those bullets!
This movie's ability to make these kinds of ridiculous arguments and conversations feel unsettling with intense camera work was pretty impressive.
