- Hello guys, Kieran here with a run on Greece, in what is quickly becoming my favourite group B car, the 6r4, Apologies if the sound is slightly off, the vr patch didn't do my headphones any good. Anyways, have an awesome day!

its always so satisfying watching a clean rally run, plus this was a huge reminder i have a lot to learn still lol. Solid driving glad youre all good and back behind the pedals :)
Thank you very much! :D
+Vinnent Thank you :) Yeah we're all constantly learning and improving
that was AWESOME! :D
+GameWolf :D
+GameWolf :D
That was so smooth
YES!!!! And not a headlight was lost. Kudos +1. I'm off to break my TX! :)
this game needs more locations sooooooooo bad. It becomes not like rally when you know every turn so damn well
great to watch a clean night run like that
i love this track
It is fun, although a tad terrifying at night :D
very nice man
Thank you :)
clean and solid run there mate!!....good driving
+JuniorMason Thanks :D
+JuniorMason Thanks :D
One of the hardest stages in the game, imo.
Smoooth run btw :D
+Çağatay Korkmaz Thanks :D
I'd put that to Finland imo
There are a few tricky parts on this one but there are a bunch of easier parts too
+MyLonewolf25 Finland I would say is easier, more open roads, high speed yes but the tricky parts are easy to remember (the 4 left over crest rocks outside being one of them)
+DiRT Central Yeah, i agree. Both Greece and Finland are gravel but in Greece i feel uncomfortable in terms of traction. In Finland, even at high speeds it feels much more easier.
To sum up : Greece>Wales>Finland , imo.
+Çağatay Korkmaz Finland may be easier, but i still enjoy it as much as the rest
do u use the handbreak on all the hairpins? i try to transfer weight and accelerate out rather than locking up the rear wheels
Yes, I was using the handbrake for the metro, although i find Scandinavian flick more effective on the 70s rear wheel drive cars, personal preference really :)
im new to dirt rally and are really struggling with acute turns and hair pins, do you use the handbreak?
+Callum Brd On certain cars yes, usually 4wd cars use the handbrake, rear wheel drive cars can use the handbrake or Scandinavian flick (turn away from the corner and back in) but i would say handbrake you be easier
+Callum Brd As an example, on this video I used the handbrake for all the hairpins, as 4wd cars are easy to recover from a slide
Do you have SOFT LOCK enabled ? This car is extremely difficult to handle when using soft lock. Because the car always wants to go sideways and the degrees of steering rotation is high.
+AESCULAPTORmark3 Yes I have soft lock enabled
Then im in absolute awe of your run here mate. A run as clean as that while also having Soft Lock enabled is absolutely incredible. The massive amounts of counter steer this car requires makes it a real challenge. Specially since this car wants to go sideways all the time. I thought this was a fantastic run either way, but knowing you also had soft lock enabled makes it 10 times more amazing. You should put it in the video title that you were using Soft Lock.
any tips on taking hairpin/hard turns? I have manual transmission on and everytime go go around a hairpin or hard turn ill be in like 1st or second gear but for some reason I always lose alot of rpm and I won't drift around the corner ill go too slow. help pls thanks
+Beckz On gravel I'd say handbreak before the corner and a little faster (this was what i did in the video) your greater forward momentum should help you swing round the corner
+DiRT Central alright man thanks
turn off stability control
Wheel and peddles? This has to be
Yes logitech g27 (sorry for the late reply)
How in the hell am I supposed to do this with keyboard O_O. I love this game but controlling with keyboard is a little bit insane on Group B cars. Especially the RWD ones.
Try upgrading to an XBox360 controller. It's not that expensive and you'll 100% be a lot better with it than with keyboard. Cheers :)
+NapoleonBorn2party I would agree with Napoleon, the xbox controller gives you more than just the left or right that keys give you :)
Well getting a controller would be a good idea, but i would need to wait a little then, to get it. But it would definitely be the wired version then :D. They ain`t cheap in my country...
+Marslane Gaming eBay man
I play with keyboard too and when i get a good time it feels really satisfying knowing how hard it is to control a group b car with keyboard. When I Drive RWD Cars i just go easy on the throttle and use more weight transfer instead of fighting with the steering wheel.
PC, Xbox or Playstation. I use Xbox.
+FedoraSmoker PC, it's why the video goes up to 1440p ^^
