MGSV ● Ghost Stealth - Code Talker [Ep.28] CQC Only / No Traces / All Tasks

  • Minimalist (Ghost) Rules:
    Episode 28 Tasks:
    -Made contact with Code Talker
    -Extracted Code Talker
    -Extracted Code Talker without him taking damage
    -Eliminated the Skulls
    -Extracted the Skulls
    -Extracted the armored vehicle sealing off Lufwa Valley
    -No interaction with enemy A.I (Soldiers)
    -No Suspicions or detections from presence
    -No use of any sort of weapons, equipment or support items
    -No Traces Bonus
    -Interactions like hold ups or lures etc, are only allowed on primary targets or scenarios rescuing prisoners if required
    -Daytime Pattern
    -No HUD
    -S Rank
    -Combat Fatigues (Less dampened footsteps)
    I extracted the armored vehicle near the extraction zone because I've never seen anybody extract it with no suspicion or interaction of the sort like hold ups etc, for a extra challenge. The timing needs to be almost frame perfect for the guard not to notice.
    Notice i leave presence indicators on. When doing a minimalist run its foolish not too, it only lets you see if soldiers seen you. It activates in the skulls boss fight which is irrelevant as they cant activate an alert. I also chose to fight them for a challenge instead of slipping by them.
    I also avoid just going up the river route for a less obvious route when escaping with Code Talker.

    When I reach this mission in my subsistence run I'm gonna be using a strat very similar to this. Only difference is my rules are the same as the subsistence missions in the game. So unlike this no buddy support, no wormhole device unless a mission requires it for a task, and I can interact with soldier AI, for example in this mission I like to go to the left corner of the room at the wall opposite the basement door after exiting it and knock to lure the 2 guys outside in while I hide behind the column on the stairway side of the entryway, then sneak out as they're checking the room with the basement door, or do a chain CQC throw on them. But my strats for the skulls fight and the route for walking out with code talker once outside are gonna be identical.

      @@SolidPerry My run is a Subsistence run. So it doesn't prohibit suspicions.

      @@SolidPerry I have no choice. I'm not allowed to drop with weapons except for the sawed off double barrel, and water pistol both of which if I even pull them out by accident I have to restart the mission. I need to drop them for enemy weapons or weapons lying around ASAP if I'm even gonna use weapons in the mission at all. I already used the same double kick technique on Quiet for Cloaked in Silence.

      @@SolidPerry i just felt sum of time syncs could be done faster but then again since ur doin it under a minimalist ghost run it would harder to design a pathway without suspicions
      Especially the last segment at wind sahks barracks..don't mind me tho ur ghost runs so far are fucking great
      I remember seeing sum mgs2 vids on ur channel? Maybe i was mistakened by another channel it was like 6 months ago my memory is kinda hazy lol

    Wonder if you could find a strat to do Pitch Dark like this. Don't think it can be done because extracting the walker gears requires interaction with enemy AI. The subsistence run of it that I did is the closest I think anyone will ever get. I spent a lot of time messing around with that mission just to come up with the strat I used.
