Ehh that’s only bc they didn’t drop the gutters down to give that leafguard a better slope to shed the leaves, it will cause problems with it being flatter like that, that specific type of leafguard isn’t that great anyway. We usually are replacing that stuff.
We’ve actually replaced more of this kinda leafguard than anything( just has to many problems) we use just a screen with no micro layer on top, it’s great for most trees except pine trees and oak trees, which the only other stuff that works besides our screen is gutter helmet which if it’s a new gutter install u have to start about 1 inch below the drip edge on the high end, and if the gutters are already installed then you would have to go around and drop them all which sucks.
I have done so many roofing jobs there is only a couple I will put on home the leaf relief buckles so bad eventually breaks I don’t care if use cut slots in it I hate riding by on hot day and sticking up
Better not to install the micro screen.. then regular blowing of any leaves that fall on top of the guard will do.. If chopping the trees that is so near your house or trimming might also help reduce the leaves that fall off the roof
Hello i have a question a man installed a gutter guard and he said theflat metal wouldnt be a problem ontop of the shingles yet there is now a lip on top of the shingles where the guards at. Basically does the guard go under the shingles or under neath????
Where did you get those snips?!!! I bought new and still can't find a good snipper! Can't get anything that will cut that rail on the edges. Don't have the strength!

Yea those are the worst and most expensive leaf guards . Garbage the mesh is to fine it clogs up with dirt
😂 think about how filters work.. that mesh will be clogged with mold and debris in 3 months.
