@@IssacVandenhurk-gl9vd it's to avoid people destroying it through the roof sometimes it can glitch and they would destroy twig with molotov or incend or grenade and it would ruin your hqm bunker, the glitch doesn't work most of time but you never know
I been building a variation your titan base for like 8 wipes and I commented on one of your earlier videos saying you should slow it back a bit at times. You replied to my comment and I noticed in this video you def have slowed it down a bit and show people good angles now. You're honestly one of my fav builders. Super easy to follow your builds and strong bases. Btw the titan I built held up to 70+ rockets on a solo 2x in an online defense and won!
Built this on the peak of a mountain and am really enjoying it. Only complaint is that it is a bit awkward to move around in the shooting floor due to the roof, even though the far peak is insane.
Gunna try and put this down in a 2x for the first time. Put it down in creative i added little funnel gaps outside for shotgun traps on the pre existing turret buildings using large furnaces as high as possible in between them and the gate houses(similar to where u put the one furnace(2:09), also where the turret building reconnects to the base you can put in fences and gates in the wall frames(20:03) to divide up the compound and also provide extra defense to turrets from some angles. I turned the 3 gate houses into full bed houses with battery and windmill towers feeding 2 batteries hidden inside main base(external TC still at 1000m). Added 3 more turrets on the triangle foundations for the shooting floor and added fences around that as well. Hoping the extra traps can buy me some extra offline time :P. One battery/windmill tower is also spare to reconnect to chosen turret system mid raid. Added this base to my main builds for solo to trio use.
Other builders are either way too over the top for small group bases or the bases are bad, but this and every other base design u have made is perfect ❤
If you build this on console you may run into my issue where I couldn’t place square foundations off of the base for the guardhouses so I had to put them where the turret pods are supposed to go instead, and move the turrets somewhere else 👍🏽

@@jwa158 twig is possible, twig MAY work. but if a flame or something clips through the wall while the raiders raid, it could possibly immediately destroy the twig. Most people upgrade it to wood so that the bunker doesnt accidentally get opened due to bugs which happen quite often in this game.
Just upgrade to wood. If raiders raid through the walls into your bunker area, they can break the twig easily because it sticks out. If it’s wood, it won’t stick out.
Build this base in rust console it was really nice we even put a china wall on it!! Only thing was that it didn't have much space for lockers and shooting floor didn't have much peaks towards the compound but overall the honeycomb and bunker was really good hydra V3 maybe?
in the next videos could you add the cost of each phase before you start them? it could help a lot when people need to farm so they know how much every phase costs and how much they need to farm to achieve the next phase! thanks a lot and nice video!
I'm assuming using wood instead of twig for the bunker is for a reason, on a build server I tried shooting a rocket at the armored roof to see if twig gets broken but it did not, I'm wondering if maybe incendiary rockets or something will unseal the bunker from the outside if you have twig but the build server I'm on doesn't allow incendiary rockets for some reason, but I'd also really like to know if twig is acceptable for the bunker seal because machete chopping the foundation is kind of annoying, I like the base though I'm practicing building it right now for the wipe I'm playing this weekend

17:24 it doesnt matter if u honeycomb it or not because the wall above the ramp will just be cheaper right? so i was thinking why notplace the ramp roof one story higher, so its sitting on a 1x1, so than the first and second floor are honeycombed instead of only the first floor
Hello Faded! I love your content and your base designs are really great and good. I am currently testing all your bases for the raid cost which will be displayed on my website. What do you think is a good representation of the raid cost? Rockets for main loot? Rockets for all loot? Rockets for all the TC:s? Rockets for main TC? Currently I have rockets for main loot but I feel like it's very cheap on large bases to get to the open loot room which is the main bases and it costs almost the same to get to the main loot for small bases which gives a bad representation of large bases raid cost.
Heyy, In my opinnion the “best” way to calculate a base raid cost would be to show how much it takes to get to the main tc/loot and then how much it takes to get most of the loot that’s in the base.
Keep in mind, the bunker is softsideable. Die inner facing hqm walls beside the roof. Edit: just rotate the hqm wall beside the roof to facing the hardside to the core.
@@deadservers2374 nah, softside a armored wall would take some time but then u can easly crall unter the roof to destroy the Wood foundation. I raided this base like 2 Times. If ur a psychopath like me who eco raids everything i can find then this is most likely 1 of the easyer bunkers to raid. I would recommend to use floorstack bunkers.

you absolutely can. the only problem with that is you can break the bunker from the outside without even getting inside. The twig protrudes out the base. Upgrade it to wood & it doesn’t show

You should totally add the foundation footprint of everything first just so people can make sure it fits before building.
