This video sold me a case. I just bought an S23 on sale here in Sweden after dropping (and cracking) my S20+. This will now be my fifth Samsung Galaxy-phone in total (Galaxy S, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S20+ and now the Galaxy S23) All of them has tended to have a lifespan of about three years, and I'm sure this case will help out with that. Amazing video! I really enjoyed it! (With a little bit of anxiety, seeing what you put that poor thing through...😂)

Great review. I have been running this case for about 1 year. I am on my second one. Here are a couple of things I have noticed. I work in construction and deal with concrete etc so my hands can be dry and or dirty. So I don't rely on the fingerprint so much. Some people have said I sound a little muffled on loud speaker. The screen protector does scratch when being abused around my workplace hence why I got another. My phone literally looks brand new though after what it's been through I think it's well worth the small inconveniences. Also both cases have never leaked a drop and I listen to podcasts on the shower with it 😅. 8/10
Glad to see your review! I'm a plumber :) and I cracked the screen from the curve side last week.. So here I am! looking for a better fully protected case for after replacing the cracked one with a pricey new screen
Thanks for offering these thorough reviews, especially this one as IP rated cases are of particular interest for active folks often in or around water. I would have appreciated functional demonstrations before and after encasing, comparing audio, camera, connectivity and facial recognition. Another concern with hermetic cases for smartphones is thermal dispersion. Overheating has been an issue mentioned in some reviews, notably during video recordings, this can cause a phone to freeze or stop recording until it cools enough.
You can uses a screen protector on your phone the reason they say not to is cause if you uses the thumb print sticker with a screen protector it will pull your screen protector off when you pull your phone out of the case I decided not too use the the thumbprint due to my work and destroying my thumb grooves But the case is great the added extra bulk makes the phone so much more bigger which I like
How's the pic quality? I mean I see the pics and everything but is it really equivalent? Did you try taking a pic of the same thing with and without from a distance to see if there is any degrading of quality at all? Thanks
Great content. I had one of those cases for my note20 ultra. Somehow, being perfectly sealed, it got lent in the case. And it is a fingerprint magnet. As seen in your video. Get a good case like Supcase unicorn beetle pro or I-Blason Armorbox or poetic spartan and the Whitestone dome film screen protector, and that's all you'll need. Remember, these phones are IP68 water resistant.
Very good video, what are the extra fingerprint covers for, are they to by used if fingerprint works not as expected? In my case I have to press very hard for it to work
Would it be dafe to assume that this case is almost identical for the S24 ultra and do you think this is the best super rugged case for an S24 ultra? Not so sure about the back protection... Also would really like an all over ip68 case like this but with magsafe if poss, any suggestions?
