Say what you want, talk all the shit that you want. Love it if you want. Everyone has their opinions, and have the right to speak them. Personally, mine is I love these guys and have personally known them for sometime. They are doing something that they love and that is making music. And I'm sure all the people that have posted negative comments also have something they are passionate about. So respect that this is their passion.
this is one of the most iconic bands ever assembled in southern California, cherished by the locals, we are proud to call these guys our own..To have some fly by night rapper come along and take their trade mark name was just wrong..It's like he tried to steal their identity and make it his own as if he was entitled to it.Lesson be learned I guess!!
U guys Rule!!! Saw ur concert yesterday and u rocked this song!!! Cant wait to see u play this song live again! Keep bringing us tasty jams PLEASE!!!
these guy were and are so fun at the live shows,9-5ing it...
this song is great!!! stop hating.
U Guys Rule!!! Saw u play yesterday and this song is the sickest jam ive heard in a while!!! Keep up the jammin tunes!!!
I still love you Nick!
was wondering what happened to common sense i used to enjoy u guys live in the clubs many years ago!...much respect!
I love this song ,it has been in my head for days :)
You have to be sober for months to play with this focus and precision.
This band actually sued Common Sense (the rapper) claiming he stole their name and he was forced to shorten his name to Common.
this is the real common sense!!
I love this song..cristina-Brasil.
daaang i'm feeling this one, niiiiice
i saw u guys at the town center last night...i wanted your cd so bad!!
I wonder how many million hits this video has had from people looking for Common Sense, ahem I mean Common :D
love it...
Before pure music. Now pure noise with covid19 as bonus
This song is delicious.
Great tune...!!! 5***** and in my Music PlayList.
Whoa, good stuff~.~
;))
great song!
I just wanna tell you that Common Sense officially came together before Sublime did. Just because they recorded an album after Sublime doesn't mean they came after them. I like Sublime and all, but facts are facts.
Cool song. I really like it. :-)
Good stuff!
Nick, I'm OC, just saw u guys at the OC Fair (2015) and I have to say, u guys still have it, despite the missing horns (why?). Will your band play my 50th bday in August 2017? I have to make it happen. It would be an epic win for me. Hah...
Btw, this is one of my favorite iterations.
@lrYaN1994 we came out in 86 by the way
i was looking for these guys after hearing about common's name drop in the mid 90's lol
why are there lots of negative comments? this is obviously a tight band
- Oh, and This is the band that made Common change his name in '94 via lawsuit- fire bun dem!
Real talk.
saludos "MR ROCK" hehehe...
nice song
nice dimples
Okay, I cant argue that, b/c I don't know the facts of when these guys grouped. But connorica said that sublimed based their music off these guys. Which I was doubting considering sublime put an album out a few years before Common Sense. I was making a point that he was on the super offense, snapped out, and was wrong. And Im sure it was more than one person who influenced Sublime to get into the music biz.
Just wanted him to read what he was writing before posting. Thx btw Dplat supr polite btw
WOW
Well said :)
FIESTA DEL SOL@!#
reggae e paz
Suck a sickk jammmmmm... check dis out!!!!!
switchity switch
Wtf, i WANTED COMMON!
@Bryantsreeves the rapper was forced to shorten his name?...i always wonderd why he cut it short
yeah, actuality it was the whole thing, the guitar, too. it's not a complaint, though. I liked Sublime. This sounds good, too.
nice :o)
if u want to learn the lyrics just keep listenning and write down what u hear cuz i dont think they hav this on lyrics.com as much as i'd luv it
nice.
311, sublime, slightly stoopid, take your pick, been done.
Pretty Cool Vid Man....Keep im coming!Melinda on myspace of blingblingmusic4u...
This is probably why Common changed his name to just "Common"
yeah haha
just what i was thinking...dont know if it was the beat or the vocals
marc maron brought me here....wheres Don Was ??
I don't like Reggae as a genre on the whole, but this was good.
Yeah me too lol.
Thank you! You are absolutely correct on everything you just posted.
LMAO, and the the lead dude of this weak ass shit posted on my profile "Wut dude, I'm the lead singer of Common Sense. Come to Cally bitch....blahblahblah"
Anyways, if you like it thats cool. But like JDosia said, it's not original shit. And you should check out Ring The Alarm by Tenor Saw, some real shit.
well, atleast i know its never to late, to switchy switch. and, how can you say your all alone? i mean, its a beautiful life. LMAO
this is kinda a west coast sublime wanna be. i dig some dub/reggae. but this? wow. really?
at least they tried i guess.
sounds like Sublime
@YourGoatseGay actually common the other common came out in 92 with hes first album can i borrow a dolla and im only 15 nd i kno that i hate when people swear that they mah smart
@moviewatcher7249
Tough to call the rapper the "real common sense" when this band existed LONG before he chose the name.
That would be like me opening a restaurant and using a name that has existed for a long time and then being surprised that I was sued for the rights to the name.
Im sure he had that bass in his basement......LOL
@urmegr He didn't even give any facts, he just made a statement. DUH!!
Umm sublime? maybe?
311 wouldnt have even had one single if Tenor Saw died in '84 rather than '88, Sublime was excellent but also borrowed heavily from Tenor and many many other artists- and finally- Yes, this is the wack shit and don't you forget it- aint this the lead singer from Slightly Stoopid- I have a DVD where he tries to interview Damian Marley with shit like "cool man, what was that last song called? Cool, man it was totally wicked, bro..."
Missed the mark on this one.
uh ever hear of Bob Marley
lol i didnt realize that singer was white until i watched the end of the video
..??
anyone with common sense wouldnt make music like this
I hate the name of this group!!!
I, as well as like a grip of people went to the House of Blues in LA years ago to see "Common Sense".NOT THIS COMMON SENSE. The thing was this group...(I'll be fair and say that there promoter, Sean Healy, used "Common's" album cover "Be" to sell tickets.
Just Wrong!!!
Eh... Not a fan.
Not bad, though.
cheesy lyrics, generic music..... not bad but really nothing special
really? now i hate them even more! why did common have to change, nobody knows this sucky band anyways, i didnt?! "Common Sense" is a much better name for Common than just "Common". He is a quite un-"common" rapper because he raps with common sense.
Richie Rich??? ...A bit lame.
the drummer is a vocalist xD
horrific abomination to the concept of music
WTF! I thought it was gonna be Common Sense, the rapper, this SUCKS!
tsk tsk, not so original
that was the worst 5 min of my life
WTF I thought this was suppose to be the rapper..
Cool song. I really like it. :-)
