In fighting games, the reason ultimate abilities aren't a single button input is because they're usually invincible reversals (meaning once you start one, you are completely invincible to enemy attacks until the move is over). Having an invincible reversal on one button would allow players to use their ultimate on reaction to their opponents normal moves, which would be extremely annoying and lead to a defensive and unfun meta.
Which, funny story, is exactly what is happening in Tekken 8 right now, as they have 1 button supers with invincible armor that come out nearly instantly and do half the health of the opponent.
@@davidcontreras8583 SF6 at least had the good sense of nerfing Modern in other ways, so it's still not optimal at the highest level. It's definitely still game-warping at the mid-level, but it can be played around.
In this game u can switch back and forth when u use assists, mixing your opponent as to who's gonna stay in the field. And u do have one button ultimates. S1 nad S2 combined is probably an R2 input
I played this in November in Korea and I gotta say it's really fun. I solo versed my 2 friends, so basically you control either 1 or both your characters, and when you tag, you swap chats allowing fun combos and ways to stop the enemy combo. Tags are limited though.
I'm a fighting game player before everything else. Crazy to learn runeterra from Grapplr and now watch him get excited about a fighting game. Hell, its crazy to watch all the content creators from my other fav genres get excited about a fighting game. Excited to see you on the rift Grap.
the reason for having more complicated inputs like the Down, Down, S1, S2 (though actually not that complicated in practice) is to ultimately balance a move slightly. it can make the move unable to be preformed in some contexts or more difficult to preform in some contexts (generally, not about this specifically) additionally, the harder the input is to preform the more power can be put behind that attack (in theory). this is partially why we have "Pretzel Inputs" in fighting games (imo) the other reason is that SNK is crazy. if you want to look into the game more and try something similar, The Power Rangers Battle for the Grid and the MvC series
"how he's able to keep attacking after ahri comes in?" well, he call the assist, but he did TAG ahri in, after that other hit, you can see that THEN ahri tags in, and braum goes out, you can delay tag on 2xko, and after ahri was done, ahri launch the enemy up and launch tag braum in again.
@@coldpanda6836 I can just see it now "Teemo, The Swift Scout Champion Introduction | 2XKO" Teemo on a basic ability throws a blinding dart making all your controls reversed Teemo's super lets him place down multiple traps on the field that last until the round is over or you touch one. If you step on it itll do a third of your healthbar Teemo's ultimate makes every dart attack in his kit do massive damage over time. If you not a fighting game guy but wanna start with Braum, it's probably the safest bet to pair him up with Darius. Less complicated and he hits like a truck.
If they ever add Karma then we know GrappLr is going all in. Braum+Karma is his bread and butter.
Bro.... Brauma in project L? YES PLEASE!
Karma would be disgusting in project L. And yes, that means Grapple will play it for certain.
3:10 Braum fans his hand after high fiving the mighty poro!!!!

I hope people make more fanart of Braum now, it is his second game outside of LOL or LOR and he has not much visual material outthere ♥ Braum is love!
those animations are so goofy yet amazing ^^

Ahri exhausted
No way. GrappLr is going to be a Grappler one day. Maybe braum isn't fate will come
I'm glad Braum made it into the game. I'm expecting Ashe and Tryndamere to make it as well so we'll have a good representation for Frejlord.

Santa braum is a must! Skinlines for this game are going to go crazy!

Braum is nice for champs that are fast and can close in against enemies.
The swap works like in the game "SFxT", the launcher itself forces a swap.

Comparing Grapp's commentary to that of Broski… I'm afraid fighting games might be too tactical (not to mention skills needed for inputs) for GrappLr.
You got to study that frame data though 😊
dw though, riot added new fuse for beginners where u can mash buttons for auto combo
When multiversus came out and was at its peak, I was top 10 ranked Iron Giant globally.
@@GrappLr Don't get me wrong, I'll be there to watch you, but you probably shouldn't approach fighting games with the same mindset as Multiversus.
