- During other research and exploration of the FNaF MFAs over the past six months, I've discovered a ton of odd details and facts, so I thought I'd share some of my favorites in a video!

Bears Attack 3 is the only numbered UCN challenge to decrease an AI level compared to its predecessor, decreasing Helpy's AI from 10 in BA2 to 5.
3:17 The weird part being that him effectively only existing in nights 6 and 7 actually reflects the story, as in, he shows up right as a thematically relevant phone call happens. I actually wonder if Scott plain forgot that he programmed Golden to show up from Night 2 onwards because it basically never happens and wrote the plot from there.
At least I hope because Night 2 is where Phone Guy tells you about the mechanic where flashing animatronics stuns them/deals with Foxy and...ew, that's just nasty, introducing the one animatronic that kills you for doing so in the same night.

That would be a nasty surprise...Though I have never actually seen Withered Golden Freddy show up on night 2 of FNAF 2. (But if anybody has, feel free to share!)

I expected some average common knowlegde facts but god damn, I was blown away right at the beginning. Somehow despite spending hours checking out odd stuff like this on wikis years ago didn't lead me to these. Great editing btw!
I'd be surprised if any of these were on wikis, considering they were all things I personally found (with exception of the Toreador March loop; Folmic mentioned that to me).
When the algorithm calls you to fnaf content. I got no complaints this is great stuff. Surprisingly hard to get explanations and details for most of the fnaf games on RUclips and these are well detailed and high quality. Thanks for making this stuff!
ok how is this even possible that after being a fnaf fan more or less since the first game released, I haven't heard about those "troll-demos" until today? like I was so confused during the tier list bit because I had no idea what you were talking about
honestly I'm not sure, but there'll always be a random common piece of information you'll never see, especially considering the last one was nearly half a decade ago
i can see it happening! some of the trolls were only sent to specific RUclipsrs that you might not have watched, and most of the public facing troll demos were posted so close to the actual games coming out that you just only saw the real releases.
I think most of the troll demos would have just been on Scott's gamejolt, so if you never checked it out you'd prob never see them. Unless Im wrong Im not too sure on that lol
they have all been on GameJolt, but the FNaF3 Troll Game, and FNaF World: Halloween Edition were both removed pretty quickly

I HAVE LITERALLY NEVER SEEN THE OMC SOUND THING REFERENCED ANYWHERE.
That happened to me once after I first got the omc easter egg and I just assumed it was a glitch because I couldn't find info about it anywhere and I thought I was going crazy
0:34 even though Scott confirmed the contents changed over time, I fell at that time it showed that the was nothing in it, as in that we were so desperate for more yet it never existed.
I got reccomended the fnaf 4 video and am devastated you dont have tons of backlogged fnaf content 😢. Keep up the great work, these vids are hella interesting
Nice video as always! Thanks for clearing up the misconception about Withered Golden Freddy's AI in FNaF2. There's actually a video from a French RUclipsr who got him to spawn on night 2.

I also got golden freddy on night 2 on the back in 2016 on the old mobile version and i though it was a glitch. I had a footage but it was deleted now :((

You've still got me thought! I've been watching AsumSaus for a while now, he's a great creator, and I can see a lot of similarities in the strategies used to explain stuff. Maybe I need to steal more stuff from him {:}
Honestly, outside of that, I just try to keep my stuff as simplistic and minimal as possible. Just take a bunch of text, straight lines, and relevant images, put a small high-contrast colour scheme on it, and throw as many drop shadows as I need until it's readable.
I've been making good progress so far on the FFPS video, so here's hoping I complete it by the end of June. I appreciate the comment :)

It’s interesting because I remember beating both night 5 and 6 in fnaf 1 in the old mobile version when it was harder then the pc version.

I can’t tell you how much I LOVE ai breakdowns like this. I’m a former game art student, so while I understand the artistic and modeling points of games, ai is basically incomprehensible to me. That being said, I am extremely interested in it, to the point I’d call it a special interest. I adore videos that break down the AI of games, it’s so fascinating to get a peek beneath the curtain and understand how it’s working. I just always want to know how the enemies work, because it somehow makes them more alive to me. Especially when the complexity of their behavior is expressed in their AI. Definitely subscribed now, thanks a bunch!!

Dude I distinctly remember playing fnaf world on my phone, didn't know the android port got removed so soon. Why does everyone (even scott himself) hate this game anyway?
It was a big switch up from all the other games, not great graphics, not too interesting gameplay, and sort of unfinished on release. As for Scott himself, I think his post about why there was no Update 3 explains some of it:
"Ok guys, let's talk about it.
No, there won't be an update 3.
There comes a time when you have to stop pouring sugar on a turd and start baking a cake instead.
I told everyone that I would release a mobile version, so I did, for free just like I said I would.
That doesn't mean that I'm happy with it.
I know there may be people who will say that I should have kept working on it.
The reality is that some of the mistakes made in development of this game were done very early.
"Fixing" certain things would basically be remaking the game from scratch.
At what point do you stop trying to fix a project that didn't go well and start working on something new?
At some point you have to walk away and stop trying to fix it.
Let me give you an example.
I wanted to prevent lots of loading times so I squeezed the entire world map AND all battles AND all bosses into a single frame.
Once that frame was loaded, you could seamlessly go from the world map into battle, and back to the world map with no loading times.
That turned out to be a mistake because while it did prevent lots of smaller load times, it added in several HUGE load times.
Each time you choose Bytes or change your party, the game has to reload the entire map, all battles, and all bosses, all at once, every time.
It was poor design, and can't be fixed without remaking the game.
And if I'm going to take time to remake, then that's time better spent starting over on a new project and learning from the mistakes of the past.
Not everyone was happy with Update 1 and 2, but it got the game at least to a point where I felt like I'd added some humor and some personality.
It's not a perfect game, and I would argue that no amount of updates it going to make it that way.
So the game is there for anyone who wants it. It's not optimized very well due to the design choices mentioned above. For that reason, it might crash on devices that were able to even run Sister Location.
I hope that it's able to run for most people, and that people are able to enjoy it for what it is and find some humor in it."
@@itztaken Ohh that makes sense, I still love the charm of it and remember it fondly but I finally understand why Scott wasn't so proud of it. I wish he made something with the similar aesthetic and rpg feel before he retired...

if you ever make other weird fnaf oddity/secret videos like this i think itd be cool if you brought up this weird easteregg in balloras gallery in sister location; where if you hold 1 and 0 for 1 minute and 20 seconds it brings up a blue screen; where if you press 1 on it itll bring up meaningless numbers
i dont think its a particularly well know "secret' but i also just think its super weird becauase it seemingly means absolutely nothing and serves zero purpose and is a complete mystery why itd be in the game at all
Funny thing about number 5 - i beat 4/20 mode first try on that old android port. In fact in my first playthrough i only died once on night 6. Kinda underwhelming, really.
I've no idea if it was due to a bug or if I got lucky, but i just followed the strategy that Markiplier used in his video and everything just kinda worked.
yeah, pre-patch is crazy difficult even with modern strategies, but after all the nerfs, it might've been too easy

I'm curious if the box is calling RNG values to increase overall randomness by making RNG dependent on factors outside the game itself, which is a common way of compensating for the function's determinism.
It generating random numbers is almost certainly a troll, because Scott did it by rolling seven random numbers from 0-9 added together, instead of just a single Random(64) expression.
I actually beat 420 on the old mobile port.
I beat it on an old kindle fire, I no longer have the thing Unfortunately but if the old port still exsists i would 100% redo it

So what was prohibited golden Freddy from moving? What are the 1st and 2nd “fixes” what did they entail? Thank you love the video
To make sure that Golden Freddy didn't use custom night difficulty on normal nights, scott coded a temporary 1st fix, that essentially reset his AI to 0 upon starting a night, making it impossible for him to spawn. The sole exception is night 2, where his AI changes during the night, which is after the 1st fix resets the AI to 0. The 2nd fix was supposed to give Golden Freddy his correct AI for each respective night, but he forgot to delete the 1st fix, so his AI is set to 0 regardless.

It was in a foreign language, but I remember finding it by searching something along the lines of fnaf 2 golden freddy night 2, and finding I believe a steam discussion in which an user linked it. I can't find that again either

Has someone ever edited that "I.mp3" sound in a way that makes it coherent, because the versions I found are...just not it.
While I'm pretty much 100% sure it wasn't the old version, I did do 4/20 on mobile years ago and unless I just got unbelievably lucky or something, I think it was easier. I was using the markiplier strat and didn't even run out of power, plus I don't think I would have been able to do it on PC at the time. Not sure just how much harder the original version was, but I do believe that old mobile 4/20 was easier than PC 4/20.
(To clarify, this is all in reference to the "old" mobile version before the clickteam remaster)

Referring to the old FNAF1 mobile port, do you know of any way to access thr pre 1.7 mobile ports?

The only version before 1.72 that I've been able to find was the first version, 1.4, though I've seen multiple. There isn't much interesting about anything in between, at least from the changelogs I've found. Mostly just Scott frantically removing effects to make sure it works.
