I try to found out which FNAF character (out of every freddy, every foxy, every bonnie, every chica, every golden freddy, every William afton, and every puppet) has the most variants.

I just don’t think Roxanne is a replacement. I think Montgomery and Roxanne are there because they are new people.

There was a man who always wore porpol. That guy had a friend Henry. They designed a diner called "fredbears family diner". There we're two robot animatronics. Fredbear and springbonnie. They we're designed to be worn by humans and endos. (the guy who wore purple was name is william) so william would go wear springbonnie and henry would wear fredbear. Williams son (evan afton) had a birthday and his brother (michael afton) decided to scare his younger brother. He said "fredbear would give you a big kiss" Michael and his friends carried little habibi and put him into fredbears mouth. He was so damn scared he started crying and the springlocks broke so fredbear took a tiny bite out of his head. He was ded. Michael was scared if his dad would kill him. William was so angry he drop kicked Michael in the face. After all that, evan had hallucinations of big animals with fangs. William killed five kids their names were: Jeremy. Fritz. Susie. Cassidy and i forgor. He made a pizzeria called "freddy fazbears pizza" there were four new robots. Freddy, bonnie, chica, foxy and, *its me*. Later he would stuff the dead kids into the robots and those kids possessed the robots. they would hunt a guy named mike Schmidt .A new pizzeria opened with newer models of the robots. The exact same ghosts possessed the newer versions. Later william dismantled those robots later named "the withereds" when the ghosts escaped the robotsand chased william into room with springbonnie. William was scared and went in the suit. He was laughing but worst happend. A FRICKIN WATER DROPLET KILLED HIM. He died, but not for long, he was locked in the same room for over 30 years. A horror attraction was made called fazbear frights, they found the corpse of william and brung him in there. He finally woke upand saw he was in a different place. He saw a night guard and decided to kill him. Michael found the location where his dad was an poured gasoline everywhere and lit it on fire. William said his famous voiceline "i always come back" and the place burned down to ashes. Henry found william being unconscious on the ground and brought him somewhere. William had a daughter called Elizabeth and she fell for a trick by her fathers creation. She ded. After that Michael went underground to see where his sister went. As he was exploring a creature lured him with his siters voice. He was lured in the scooping room where he die- SIKE!! The creature went inside of him and Michaels corpse starts rotting and puked the monster out. He heard a voice of his sister "you wont die" and got back up

Cool! Anyways, Here Is Some Fnaf Lore
In FNAF 1, the lore was pretty simple: A kids restaurant named Freddy Fazbear's Pizza was created. The mascots are Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the bunny, Chica the chicken and Foxy the pirate fox. One day, an unnamed employee at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza disguised himself as one of the mascots and lured five children into the back room and killed them. It's implied that the spirits of the kids possessed the animatronics after their bodies were stuffed in the suits, causing blood, mucus and a foul odor to come from the animatronics. The man was caught and charged for it, but the bodies were not found and there wasn't much evidence, most likely due to Fazbear Entertainment cleaning and covering up deaths. As for the animatronics, they walk around at night and kill any night gaurd they see by stuffing them into a suit, which the company covered up by saying that the animatronics see you as an Endoskeleton with no costume on. The animatronics used to walk around during the day until the Bite of 87 where a person had their frontal lobe bitten off but survived and are allowed to walk at night or else their servos will lock up. A man dubbed as "Phone Guy" worked the night shift until night 4 where all the animatronics attacked and killed him, including Golden Freddy, who is a mysterious animatronic that is either a ghost or a hallucination. Fortunately, he recorded messages for any future employee working there as advice, one of them being our main character: Mike Schmidt. So far, the lore is pretty interesting.
FNAF 2 went into more detail about these things by showing us what happened in 1987 and the MCI in the form of death minigames that give us secret messages. In the Take the Cake to the Children minigame (which has the message "SAVEHIM", remember this cause I'll talk about it in the third part), a boy is standing outside of what is presumed to be Fredbear's Family Diner (the mascot being Golden Freddy, or Fredbear as he is implied to be) and crying because he can't get in. Suddenly, a car pulls up in front of him and a man gets out, standing in front of the boy. This man, who is the killer mentioned in the first game, is named by the fans as "The Purple Guy", "Purple Man" or simply "Purple Guy". The kid cries harder until he is killed by Purple Guy, who drives off after doing his "work". The minigame ends with a jumpscare of a new animatronic (The Puppet), implying that the boy possessed it. Foxy Go Go Go shows Foxy walking up to five kids three times. At the third time, Purple Guy is there smiling like the madman he is and the five kids are dead, ending with a Foxy jumpscare. Give Gifts, Give Life (which has the message "HELPTHEM") shows The Puppet bringing the MCI victims back to life in the form of the animatronics by stuffing their bodies. After getting the fourth child, the fifth child pops up in the middle of the room for a split second, and it ends with a Golden Freddy jumpscare, implying that the fifth child is Golden Freddy (I'll talk about this more in the second part when we get to FNAF 4). Finally, the SAVETHEM minigame shows The Puppet asking Freddy for help. The minigame has a layout of the FNAF 2 pizzeria, along with dead children and the other animatronics. Since there are no jumpscares at the end, it will either play normally, or you will encounter Purple Guy and get two words saying "You can't".
The plot of the game itself takes place in 1987, where Freddy's is getting a grand re-opening after what happened in the previous pizzeria. The company tried to repair and retrofit the old animatronics with newer technology, but because of their appearance and smell, they decided to leave them in Parts and Services to be used as parts for their replacements: the new, kid friendly Toy animatronics, accompanied by Balloon Boy and The Puppet. The Toys have a facial recognition system and a criminal database in order to identify any suspicious people and protect children. One of the Toys, the version of Foxy, was constantly taken apart and rearranged by kids (because kids in this world have super strength apparently) to the point where the workers left it as a take apart and put back together attraction called "The Mangle". A man named Jeremy Fitzgerald decides to take the night shift while Phone Guy tells him what to do. Around night 4 and 5, things go wrong as the facial recognition has been tampered with (implied that Purple Guy did it) and the animatronics are hostile towards adults and only adults. On night 6, the place is on lockdown because "someone" used a yellow suit to commit more crimes. Phone Guy tells Jeremy that he'll be moved to the dayshift and told to stay close to the animatronics (implying that he's the Bite of 87 victim) while Phone Guy will take the night shift himself one day, and we all know how that goes. In the end, the pizzeria closes, and the Toys are scrapped while the originals and Puppet are kept for future use. After each night, there's a cutscene with us looking around the empty FNAF 1 place as Freddy, along with seeing Bonnie, Chica, Golden Freddy and the Puppet there, hinting at future events to come. ( Also there are hallucinations like Shadow Freddy, Shadow Bonnie or RWQ, JJ and the Endoskeleton, but only the first two have a role in the next game).

As the attraction opened its doors to the public, strange and terrifying things began to happen. The animatronics would move on their own, and visitors reported seeing ghostly figures lurking in the shadows. It wasn't long before the horror attraction became a real-life nightmare.
A group of brave individuals, including a security guard, a paranormal investigator, and a technician, decided to investigate the strange occurrences at Fazbear's Fright. The group soon realized that they were in a fight for their lives as the animatronics, possessed by the spirits of the murdered children, began to hunt them down. In FNaF 2, there was 3 Freddys introduced, in 3 there was 1, in 4 there was 1, in World there was 5+, in SL there was 1(technically 2 if you count Yenndo), in FFPS there was 2(technically 4 if you include Lefty and Nedd Bear), in UCN there was none, etc. I'm sure you get the idea

It’s still Freddy, but not for that reason. Bonnie is firmly in second. Springtrap is a Bonnie variant, so all 15 Aftons that use a version of Springtrap put Bonnie up to 53, while Golden Freddy being a Freddy variant bumps Freddy ahead again with a total of 60. The spring suits are definitively versions of Bonnie and Freddy, so they shouldn’t be calculated as different animatronics.
