Juliann, my mom, and I all drove up to my college town to drop off half of my dorm stuff early. We had to do this because of COVID-19, but it gave us an excuse to go shopping. The room is very nice, but unexpectedly I got an email saying that we have to move to a different dorm because that hall is going to be used for isolation... We love 2020 am I right? Anyway hope you all enjoy the video!

I used to work at lulu.. literally just walk in and say "hey so I was being foolish and didnt get any of my stuff in bags is there anyway I coud get a (small/large) bag to carry my stuff in?" or just go buy a scrunchie/socks for like $12 and ask for whatever size bag you want !

Was wondering what month they give roommate/suite mate/room assignments. I realize also in my one comment that I didn’t really elaborate, the reason your videos are very helpful, as well as entertaining is because I am a blind screenreader user. I have never been to UMKC before, and haven’t gone to college in a few years and I’m going back and your videos are very helpful and descriptive since I’m unable to see so it helps me to get an idea of UMKC from your videos :-)

It's from coach! I dont know the exact style but I got mine a while ago and Juliann thought the same thing. We bought her's last year and my mom one in blue. So they should still have it in stores.

I don't remember but if you go to an outlet (that's where we usually get our purses) it is almost always on sale for a super good price. I think I was a couple hundred but don't quote me on that

My brother ent to Umkc and I am going to Northwest Missouri state university
Nothing there off campus to do. Boring rural cow town. UMKC has more diversity and more things to do off campus.

@@faithzumwalt7072 I'm not there to have fun either. Im not a party person AT ALL! But i wouldn't want to feel secluded. Especially in the winter. The winter in Northern Missouri are HORRIBLE. Ur gonna feel isolated. And those dorms are not good with everbody walking around. You wont get any peace. UMKC is a better campus. And there dorm roms are better. UMKC is in a much better get to location. In other words If a family member wants to call door dash for some food to be sent to the dorm or have sone items from the local Walmart sent to the dorm. That can be done. In Northern Cow town isolated Missouri at NWMSU that cant happen. The small little hick town does not offer door dash options 🙄. We checked. My family and i had a tour of the campus in April. The tour guide people were great. But the school is just in a small rural hick town and just didnt do it for me. But also close to the campus of UMKC there is a Amtrak train station nearby. If a family emergency arises or i need to go home for the holidays i can just hop on the train because my family will send me a ticket. Also if needed the Kansas City Airport is close by also. If you want to go to school at the little hick town of Northern Missouri and start feeling isolated by January. And the gloom and doom of old man winter sets in with the 8 feet of SNOW ❄. Then go right ahead I will take my chances at UMKC where i won't get that stuck and isolated feeling when the winter hits because there is a community around the campus. If i want to go to Walgreens i can, if i want to go to Walmart ican, if i want to get something to eat there are plenty of pizza 🍕 shops, sammich shops, and also since UMKC is in the Kansas City region there are plenty of the best BBQ places in the United States. So be my guest go ahead and go to NWMSU and i will have "FAITH" and take my chances with UMKC. LOL!" Good Luck! L8TR 👊!

@@faithzumwalt7072 Oh yea my bad Faith, i forgot to mention i also toured Missouri Southern State University which i believe is under the sane umbrella as NWMSU. This was my second choice over NWMSU. MSSU Was a better overall campus because of the surrounding community of Joplin. Yea it was kinda rural and hardly no diversity also but if i need door dash options or need to get home quickly for emergencies or whatever. Then my family can easily and accessible get me there. Also it is located in Southern Missouri and old man winter wont be dropping as much snow as he will on the Northern side of Missouri waaaay near Nebraska and Iowa.
