Just discovered Lucky Dog show. Awesome show....absolutely hooked on this show!!! Going to buy Brandon McMillian’s book! Love what you do, Brandon, and love your personality too!
Here is my semi-pro tip for new dog owners: Don't get the dog if you don't have the time and energy to exercise it. Especially puppies. You have to tire them out EVERY DAY. Walks, runs, play in the park, play on the beach------whatever. Just make sure you have THE TIME to devote to your dog, puppy or older dog. Also: PLEASE DO NOT get a dog if you're going to leave it on its own for hours at a time. Otherwise you're going to end up with an unhappy, lonely and neglected dog that really should be in another, more dedicated home.
You only ever offer your knuckles/back of your hand to a dog. NOT a hand with your fingers outstretched. Fingers out appears more aggressive to a dog. With knuckles, if the dog does decide to nip you, s/he won't be able to grab your fingers. I'm surprised McMillan didn't share that.
There’s indisputable evidence by sheer numbers - all you have to do is look up which breeds commit the most severe Harm and or kill humans. It doesn’t matter if a Chihuahua is more aggressive -the chance of a Chihuahua killing you is almost 0 compared to a pitbull.
He’s an absolute fool to not acknowledge that there are certain breeds including the pitbull that do have a propensity to kill and can kill. And that they shouldn’t be recommended definitely for first time dog owners or owners with small children or frail and elderly people. It’s just a fact. There’s no reason to take a risk with a pitbull when there’s so many other breeds out there.

His book is just great. Simple instructions to make sure your dog learns how to behave without any issues. I want number two!
The interviewer does good homework. Kudo to him. And God bless Brandon.
I love very much his show on TV ! Thank you for saving so many dogs ! 👌👏👏👏👏❤❤❤
Brandon is amazing. What a nice man.
I would love to see a link to the video of the Sandy reunion mentioned in the interview. The episode was very moving.
I found it! It is on Brandon's FB rather than on the Lucky Dog FB. facebook.com/animalbrandon/videos/1387759154579667/

I cry every time you say goodbye to a pupper.
