      While I am just one viewer, one loyal person like myself leaving is representing lots of people displeased with the booking of that segment. I wasnt the only one to stop watching as viewership was down heavily after 35. Droves left in 2009 for similar reasons. Try to rub a few brain cells together when you reapond.

      The whole thing stinks of Stephanie's horrible creative team and the influence of Triple H which was always threatened by Kurt's natural talent. Angle is incredibly humble here but man, he deserved better and so did the fans. Such an underwhelming ending to a legendary career. Kurt should heal up and go to AEW.

      I did a review for the King of the Ring 2001 on my RUclips Channel about a week or so ago, check it out if you can. I LOVE Kurt Angle. He has had an amazing career and was easily my favorite immediately since I competed in collegiate wrestling since I was young. He has definitely put himself through the ringer in regards to his physical health, even before he was a performer. I hate to bring this up because it does sadden me a bit, and maybe it is just part of getting older........but this is 3/3 for Kurt talking about a topic and him literally apologizing to Conrad about completely forgetting about what he was taking about. Kurt's too nice and humble to say it, so I'll just throw out there that WWE did him wrong and totally disrespected him as a TRUE legend during his return. Every other old guy they have rolled the red carpet out for and even gave world title runs and main events at Wrestlemania. What does Kurt do? Lose to a bunch of nobodies and rehash a dead feud with Corbin as his retirement match in a buffer slot at Mania to no fanfare. I understand Kurt was limited, but they could have sent him off with some dignity instead of making him out to be an old, washed up, goof for a year.

    I wish your last opponent would’ve been Chad Gable. Sort of a handing off of the torch from one Olympic athlete to the next. And Chad is much more talented than what they have him doing now. The thing is, they have kind of abused him and his talent for so long that I don’t know if people would buy anything else. Meaning, it would be up to him to get the people behind him enough to get the company to give him the push that he deserves. He obviously is very talented on the mic and in the ring. Sure, he’s a smaller guy… But so was Daniel Bryan and even guys like Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart, Chris Jericho.
    Dolph Ziggler is another one they have abused. Much more talented than they ever give him credit for and the fact that they use him as a glorified jobber is just ridiculous. Ricochet is another one that they seemingly don’t know what to do with. The kid has lots of talent, though his mic skills are a little subdued… and unfortunately I don’t think he has the option to turn. He’ll because he just has that baby face kind of aura about him.
    Mustafa Ali is another one. They should’ve gone with the hacker gimmick. I think it would’ve worked incredibly well for him. I think it still could. Something that may be he could work with ricochet doing. As they both can pull off that watchdogs video game vibe that would work with the gimmick. Essentially, them bringing down the establishment that holds them back. Which I think fans would get behind.
    In any case, I appreciate you, Kurt, and everything you’ve done. You couldn’t have come at a better time for the business, because you put legitimacy behind a product that had seemingly sold out to gimmicks before you arrived. Between you and Brock and Steve Blackman, Ken Shamrock. It was a good time for Wrestling. So thank you.

    You can tell Kurt is scared of sounding like a mark for protecting his persona, but in reality who cares? Kurt is a legend and he didn't deserve to job out to some B-listers during his last run with the WWE... I hate it when people go in on guys like Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, and Goldberg refuse to do jobs. Don't be ashamed to protect your legacy. F*** what these wrestling nerds think. Kurt deserved better.

      It's like Tony Atlas said. As an Independent-Contractor it is *YOUR* responsibility and no one else's to protect your brand. The smart-wrestlers understand that and they have benefited from protecting their brand.

    Kurt, I love you, but you're delusional if you think Vince listens to the fans. I'd like to hear what you really think about the afterthought match with Baron. It should've been Cena. If Vince is all about the draw and the money at WM, that should've been the match.

      Yeah, I'm not sure what that is about. Kurt does seem to have trouble remembering things or keeping his train of thought so maybe he's got notes at his station and that's the rustling we hear? Ida know. Kinda reminds me of listening to Jim Rome on the radio. :0)

    Love Kurt, but with all due respect, Kurt was noticably losing a step as far back as 2013.
    He probably knew it wirthin himself all the way back in 2006, and that's perhaps a motivation for Perc Angle as well

      Your joking right? WM 35, was the worst long WM in history. The only things to check out on that WM is the WWE Title Match, Universal Title Match and a couple of other matches. The Triple Threat match involving the Women sucked, and people started leaving the arena because they were exhausted by the time that match took place.

    • @D2Kprime
      @D2Kprime 3 года назад

      It's about money more than politics. Usually, every headliner at the WWE Hall Of Fame is heavily-marketed by WWE with merchandise, WWE Network material, and many other financial-ventures. Why do you think the Ultimate Warrior is in there? WWE is *STILL* cashing in off of his name.
