I just found this channel. You make the information so understandable. I happened to have this box for like two years and found it. I didn't know what to build or understand the rules too much. This is great!
I appreciate these videos a lot, especially the Tactical Space Marines after realizing I still have some on a sprue from a Citadel paint set 10 years ago. While I'm looking at the Octarius starter in order to play Orks, I was trying to figure out if my Firstborn marines had some use. This helped me understand all this way easier. Thank you!
The salamander paint job looks great! I bought a tactical squad today and I’m trying to make an intercession killteam, all of the things online showed space marines with chainswords but the box I got only had a power sword and chain sword. But you showed me I don’t need chainswords! I can use bolt guns!
Deathwatch are objectivly better than Tactical Marines and are on the same Army List. Better equipment but same rules otherwise. You can do the exact same loadout as Tactical Marines if you prefer that but don't because Deathwatch equipment options are just better. Even the Boltguns are better cuz they have 4 ammo options each shot.
@@kojinko Get a 6th or proxy one in, for sure. I think one of each option - Gunner, Heavy Gunner, Fighter, Sgt, and then 2 warriors is the way to go. Infernus Heavy Bolter for the heavy gunner, since you can double shoot with Bolter Discipline. For Sgt and Fighter, I guess it depends on if you want to be more defensive or offensive; the ability to take a shield that allows double parry and gives a 4+ invulnerable save, in exchange for no ranged ability, is a really interesting option.
Great video, really clear breakdown! Just getting into KT and I love it but I'm getting my butt kicked. Would love "best practices" kind of video. Why would we deploy in certain ways, why would we pick certain tac ops, what to think about when moving, etc? Kind of thing.
Any advice on how to play blooded? Im currently playing Sgt with plasma Butcher Corpseman Comms Sniper 2 troopers Plasma gunner Melta gunner Trenchsweper Ogryn Commisar
Hey guys, I'm very new to Killteam and have a question. On Wahapedia, when we look under the Kill Team tab, we have several subsections for Space Marines. For example, "Intercession Squad" and "Space Marine." When we compare the units in both tabs, the data at "Intercession Squad" shows much more powerful Marines with much more abilities. Even them basically being the same guys, Intercessors, something like "Bolter Discipline" costs 1 CP under the "Space Marine" tab, while the dudes in the Squad can just do it passively. Why is that?
Really like ur videos bro, ill suggest you prepare a PPT with screenshot of each thing u want to speak. With that you will avoid scrollin up and down and editing the whole video
So I could get all of these models by buying the "tactical squad" box? Or is there other boxes I'd need to buy to put together the squad listed in the video?
You could buy the box but I think you would get 1 rocket launcher instead of being able to have two. To save money, I would look at listings for tactical squads on Ebay, and find a listing that has the aforementioned models already built and included. I made this purchase in the past and spent $14.50
Marines from compendium is one of weakest teams in this game. Scouts and deathwatch play better but still bespoke teams are much much better. If you a new player without expirence just make intercession squad. Good team with easy rules and eveybady have some primaris figures, so they aslo easy to build or cheap for buy.
9:50 that's 3 white circles, AKA 6 inches, not 3. You can always dash 3 inches and shoot with a heavy weapon.
Ill pin this thank you

They are just different rules for the same models, play the intercession rules, they are competitive
Intercession can be looked at like the latest update for marines
Great video, can you made one of heavy interssesor and one of deathwatch? Thanks so much

Two actually, Tactical squad and devastator squad, one as the base one for complimenting the tactical squad
