Hi Lynn! Your dragon is quite the labor of love - already a masterpiece. Sorry about your foot issue as I know you love to walk. It’s tough when doing certain activities become more limited; I know you will adjust your walking so you can still go. I’ve been thinking about your concern regarding a potential comment from one of those stinkers who love to spread nastiness wherever possible. Please do not stop making videos - you have almost 5,000 subscribers who think you are pretty great! (me included!). So glad to see you attending lots of stitching events! Happy stitching!
Love all your stitching thanks for sharing and your crochet! The the Song pattern happy stitching
Hi Lynn, you sounded so down today not your usual bubbly self. I am so sorry about your diagnosis. It is hard. From one arthritis sufferer to another yes adaption of your walks is the way to keep your walks in your program. I have started doing city walks along the Gorge (lots of benches along the way to sit and enjoy nature in the park) and walking in the galleries, I try to plan them with a coffee shop about half way or a stitching shop to break it up. Just a different type of walk. My friend swears by her aquasize classes, but that is not my thing.... could be cheaper though....😂seriously you are a lovely lady and I am confident you will find something different that gives you joy. As for the negative People ( insert a loud raspberry here) . Hugs see you next time, war wounds permitting.
Everything is beautiful your stitching and crochet, have a great week. Song
So sorry Lynn to know about your arthiritis dignosis but as you say maybe shorter, more often walks will be the way forward although it's not really what you want. I hope the swimmimg helps. Love seeing your stitching here, on f/b and instagram as you say there is no need for unkindness, people should just not comment or watch if they don't like it. Happy stitching, sending you hugs x
I was sorry to have missed Cheshire Stitchers this month as would have been lovely to meet you. I hope to catch you at another one soon! xx
I seem to have missed several of your videos so catching up now. I'm so sorry to hear about the arthritis, I hope you find someway around it with shorter walks. I agree that there is no need for nasty comments. I've not come across the Vintage Stitcher but will look for her. Take care.
Hi Lynn, I enjoy your videos so much; I also enjoy your spirit and your strength. You are an inspiration to me and I am certain to many others. I am so sorry about your medical diagnosis. It is clear how much your long distance walking means to you, so losing something you love is really hard. You are brave and strong, and although the future may be difficult for you, I feel certain you will overcome somehow. You are not someone who gives up. Take good care💝
Always love your videos. Love to see all your stitching progress. Your dragon is looking amazing 😊❤

I love your videos and look forward to them! About negative comments, you're correct in saying 'just don't watch', there's no need for it. Sorry to hear about the arthritis, I've got some too in different places and so does my daughter, it's not good, but I learned to live with it. Anyway I love your stitching, so keep up the good work!
I love, love, love your dragon.
Lovely stitch, as always.
Song x
So sorry to hear about the osteoarthritis - especially when it affects something that you love so much. My partner is a sports masseur - I’ll ask him if he has anything to suggest. I also wanted to say I love that top on you…it’s just your colours 😊
Hi Lynn,
Enjoyed your video, I always enjoy seeing your projects, they are all lovely!
I like your blouse too!
I’m sorry about your arthritis diagnosis, I hope there will be some relief so you can continue walking… maybe shorter ones.
Your walk video was beautiful. So many lovely places you have shared.
Take care and Happy Stitching
Aww. I'm so sorry to hear about your foot diagnosis, Lynn. I can only imagine how upsetting that must be. My bro and his wife live in North Yorkshire and they were both avid walkers. Sadly, he past away several years ago, but my SIL kept up with it till she also began having severe foot pain (among a few other health issues) which led to surgery. She no longer goes on walks, and I know she misses it very much. It would be brilliant if they can keep your pain under control so you can still go on walks, albeit it shorter ones. Could you perhaps start going on bike rides, or would that still enhance your pain? All the best. Steph x (PS - I LOVE the dragon!)
I'm so sorry to hear about your foot diagnosis. How frustrating it must be as an avid walker. I'm sure you'll find a way to still enjoy walking in some fashion. I do enjoy seeing the pictures of your walks. I love seeing places where I'll more than likely never get to visit...makes me feel like I'm almost there😊. The dragon is looking fabulous! Have a great couple of weeks!
So sorry for your arthritis diagnosis especially as it impacts your walking. I hope the doctor can support you pain management but swimming is a good alternative for exercise and you can still enjoy the stitching community with retreats. Love seeing your stitching progress x
Hi Lynn, I do hope you’ll still be able to get some walking done as I know you love to walk and, as you say, it really helps with mental health. Loved seeing your beautiful stitching. Your dragon is amazing! Happy stitching 😊
Hope you heal quickly. Loved your stitching----that dragon!!!!!!
Love the progress on your dragon, and your other projects as well. Love the pictures from your walks and the background music used. Best of luck with the consult.
💜💜💜
The dragon is coming along beautifully! And I very much like And Be Kind to One Another. Words to live by, as you say. Wish you good luck with the arthritis diagnosis. Swimming can help. And hopefully taking shorter walks will still be good. Take care of yourself.☺
Hi! Sorry I've been bad about watching. I am in the middle of move from hell. Trying to leave Miami and go to Albuquerque. I'll pray for your feet (up to now I was concerned about the lungs). Don't you just hate it when you can't do what you were able to before? I messed up my knee and I'm still looking to start physical therapy once I settle down. Anyway, I hope I'm in Albuquerque when I watch you next.
Thank you for the podcast Lynn, I also watched the Vintage Stitcher podcast….it’s amazing how some people feel they have a right to post such unkind comments - I’m with you - if you don’t like what you are watching just turn it off! I hope you have some positive options from your doctor, wishing you all the very best. Regards Sue
Hi Lynn
Your dragon is looking amazing! I don’t know how bad your feet are, I can only tell you that at 50 I had a knee replacement and I have arthritis everywhere. I have a shoulder that’s injured and the other needs replacing….. what I am saying I am sure you will find a way. I know how much you love walking and I pray you can keep going, don’t give up!
🙏🏻❤
Hi Lynn, great photos from your walk at the end of your video. Loved seeing the progress on your HAED piece Daisy Offerings. Good luck with your feet, pain free!
Hi Lynn sorry to hear about your feet problem, your retreats sounded fun, great stitching projects and crochet, have a good week Thankyou for sharing🇳🇿❤️🪡
You are terrific!! I love all of your stitching, crocheting and knitting. I feel bad for you with your diagnosis which limits your walking. I always enjoy hearing about your walking and the beautiful pictures. I have arthritis in my left thumb and my knees. It has limited my walking and stitching, but I haven't given up. Hang in there!!!
Thank you Lynn, life can be so cruel physically and mentally. I do hope the arthritis will not stop you walking as it is obviously a great part of your life. My arthritis impedes my stitching……neck problems, but we find ways and means somehow. Onwards and upwards x

Beautiful progress on the dragon! Your crochet squares are so pretty and bright. The retreats sounded fun. I'm glad you are getting out and about. Winter can seem long and lonely, so being social helps. I'm so sorry about your feet diagnosis. That sounds painful. Hopefully, your doctor can give you some help managing the pain. A beautiful part of the country with the walk you went on. I loved seeing the stone bridges/underpasses. Take care, happy stitching. ❤
I am so sorry to hear about the arthritis diagnosis. I teared up hearing you speak about it. It is so hard to hurt while walking! I know how much you (we) love your walks. I have fibromyalgia and a strange autoimmune issue called erythromelalgia that really hurts my feet and lower legs in hot weather and it really puts a damper on hikes. I wish you HEALING and maybe a good treatment that will give you some relief. I know you are not one to give up. Short walks and swimming are good plans!! Best wishes...LOVE your stitching!

Thank you for the video. Your work is beautifully done. I enjoy seeing the progress. Song
Hi Lynn. Always love to see your stitching, knitting and crocheting. Love to see the photos from your walks. I'm sorry to hear about your feet. I can relate! Getting old(er) is harder than it looks. Best of luck on your upcoming surgery. Your enabling skills are top notch!
I’ll keep you in my thoughts with your upcoming removal of a BBC on your nose. Iv had BBC and SCC removed from my nose and lips and more BBC removed from other parts of my face and arms. So I know how your feeling.
Oh Lynn, I’m so sorry about your arthritis diagnosis! I hope that you can find some pain relief. And, by the way, I love your dragon.
Oh I am so sorry your walking will be impacted. And, yes, we all need to be kind to each other. Every day is a challenge. I am so grateful you do your episodes for us. Please know I think you are talented and creative in the needlework you show us. Enjoy the upcoming gatherings. 😘
Song. Love it. Your dragon is really looking good. Nice progress on your projects. Sorry to hear about your feet. I know how you love your walks. Hopefully you will get some options and relief. Thank you for your videos.
Love watching your videos and seeing all your project5! Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Song
So sorry to hear about your diagnosis, I sympathise, I also stopped walking because of pain but not the same as yourself. Swimming, great substitute and all body exercise go for it. Thank you for the stitchy shares, I love seeing the progress.
Your dragon is stunning. I hope you get helpful health news from your doctor. The walk photos are beautiful and the music is perfect accompaniment.
Hello Lynn love your work. I’m sorry about your diagnosis but if you go on line and look up osteoarthritis in feet it will give you some good tips, get some good walking shoes, I have a warm wax bath I use and it helps, keep walking but maybe not as long and do the swimming. Lots more information I have it in your feet and hands but I do have injections in my left thumb twice a year. With summer coming it will help you..
Best wishes…
So sorry about foot pain interfering with your rambles. Love your stitching. Exercise can be hard on the body. Sad but true.
Hi Lynn, I enjoy your videos so much. I too have arthritis in my hands and feet so I know your frustration. Look up anti-inflammatory diets for arthritis. It has slowed my progression of the arthritis to wear I can still enjoy the things I love. I just have to be strict with what I allow in my diet or I do feel the horrible difference. Many best wishes. -Lynn ❤️
Hoping you find some relief from your pain. I’m sure you’ll find a way to be outdoors and moving. Keep your chin up. The days are getting longer and spring will be here soon.🌷🪻
Sorry to hear about your feet - that’s typical isn’t it!! When you’re doing something you love - walking - and now you’ve got to do shorter walks or find something else to do!! Hope the op goes well! Take care xx
Hi Lynne- your dragon look a amazing! I’m not into dragons myself, but the detail on your piece is stunning and I admire your workmanship. I’m sorry to hear about your arthritis. I have arthritis in one of my feet and the more I walk, the more it hurts. I know you love your multi- mile walks and the beautiful scenery. Maybe there are shorter walks of a mile or two you could go on that still have nice scenery. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.
The day and weekend stitchy catchups sound good Lynne. I am soo sorry about you diagnosis on your feet and you so enjoy your rambling..I would suggest water aerobics if there are any in your area. I don't do it now but when i did it was hilarious and did me the world of good.I too am struggling at the moment and its tough especially living on my own. Its not new to me so i am keeping my 🤞 it will go but don't feel its going to be soon. I am supposed to go to the ENR in March but don't think i can face it😢. Time will tell. Have a good stitchy fortnight. Stay safe
Sorry to hear about your feet, iv just had that diagnosis on my knees unfortunately 😞
Take care, I think stitching really helps us all with our mental health.
😊❤
Hi Lynn, beautiful stitching as always and the dragon is incredible xxx so sorry to hear about your diagnosis, I received the same a few months ago but its affecting my fingers and wrists more. When you speak to your gp ask about a referral to orthotics, they can make special insoles for your shoes. Clarks funny dream shoes are nice and cushioned too xxx sending much love, try not to focus on what you cannot do but what you can do and remember yoi're amazing xxxxx
Keep a song in your heart.
I feel for you and the osteoarthritis...please do as the doctors say so you don't do permanent damage to your feet. My mom's osteo was so bad her bones broke and cut an artery...and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Your stitching is delightful and if you can't walk, you can stitch with people. Hugs and prayers for you to be courageous in this difficult time. ❤
As one who also suffers with osteoarthritis Lynn I can sympathize with you. Please keep up the walking even if it’s shorter ones as I know it helps with our mental
health too. So kind of your to pass on your knowledge of knitting, crocheting and all the fun things . I always look forward to seeing your progress on the dragon and your fun crafts. Hugs from Canada. Song.
Hello 👋 Lynn! I love seeing your progress on the dragon, he’s so cool! I’m so sorry to hear about your arthritis and the pain that you are experiencing. I too have arthritis. It’s in my hips, back and hands. Take care of yourself though don’t overdo. 💜
Hi Lynn - I am thinking of you and am so glad that you have a cup half full of stitching and crafting goodness x
As always I look forward to your videos and am never disappointed Lynn. You are quite a good photographer as well. I do enjoy your photos after your walks. I’m so sorry to hear of your feet issues and am wishing all good things for you. Thank you for the shout outs and for brightening my day!
So sorry about your diagnosis but you are right to be positive and think about shorter walks and swimming. Love watching your videos and I hope you never get a bad comment because you don’t deserve one. Nobody does. Takes a lot of courage to go in front of a camera. Thank you for all the enabling you do 😄
Always enjoy all your flosstubes. The stitching is coming along well. It does not matter how much one does as long as you enjoy it. Keep up with your walking even if it does mean shorter walks more often😊
I love your dragon. He’s coming on beautifully! I’d love to win. Song x
Another great video. Sorry to hear about your feet but maybe shorter walks and the swimming will be just what you need to stay active. Love your videos Sweet Lady. Have a great 2 weeks.
Feel better Lynne! painful feet are so hard to deal with- just keep moving and stretching at least a little bit- loves your stitching!
Getting older isn’t fun, is it. Just do shorter walks. At 81 I can understand , but we fight it.
Love all of your stitching. Especially the Dragon. Song
