CRIME IS A BIGGER THREAT

Crime is a bigger threat than hurricanes, according to Tobago Business Chamber Chairman Martin George. While he expressed gratitude to the authorities for their response to Hurricane Beryl and relief that the damages were not as bad, he said the murder of 30-year-old Nathan Roach hours before the disaster on Sunday night is a bigger concern.
George does not believe enough is being done about crime and calls for more action from the authorities.
Nathan Roach of Mt Pleasant was found shot multiple times in his bedroom on Sunday night. Despite being rushed to the Scarborough General Hospital, he died during treatment. Police are investigating the incident.
