    She has been the epitome of consistency at this meet. No one better say that about her, again.

    The fact that she's now a SIX time world medalist... she's remarkable

    I feel like at this worlds Shilese has well and truly put the narrative of her being inconsistent to bed. She has been a hit machine for the past two years on the international stage, and has shown she can handle weird flukes like on floor in the all-around and high pressure situations like beam in team final. Truly one of the most consistent gymnasts in the world at this point!

    Wow, I always forget how long she has been fighting for this. She is so so good nowadays, hard to believe she wasn't making international meet teams before.

    So damn consistent two years in a row now!!! She could have the worst meet of her life at trials and I would still put her on that Olympic team. She clearly knows how to deliver under pressure

    She’s amazing. Looking forward to seeing what routines she goes with for Paris next year. Hope she upgrades her vault to be more competitive.

    • @aliciamcdonald7105
      @aliciamcdonald7105 11 месяцев назад

      She needs to upgrade VAULT and FLOOR and I think she can do both especially floor. The height she get normally on her tumbling suggest she can do so much more.

    I love how dynamic she is in her interviews! Sometimes I'm surprised by how soft-spoken and timid the US women are in their interviews, but I really appreciate Shilese's energy!

  • @aliciamcdonald7105
    @aliciamcdonald7105 11 месяцев назад +4

    Shilese said that she is only 75% back so that means we can expect more from her. Having said that, she will really needs to upgrade vault and floor in particular if she wants to challenge for more than a bronze in AA and with the height she consistently gets on her tumbling passes, I believe that she can definitely do that. For me, I think if one wants to learn the fundamentals with respect to form and artistry you can start at any number of gyms, but if you want to upgrade and improve your ability overall, you need to be at WCC.

    Isn't she just amazing? Being so strong and consistent after the loss of her daddy is just out of this world. I saw her at these Worlds in Antwerp last October and she is really one of the big boys now. Olympic-ready i would say, fysicly and mentally! 😘

      @@taylorburtisQui and Kaylia had the same D score, and Qui's execution was definitely cleaner, so this was the right call. Kaylia would have won if shed made all her connections, and I soooooo hope to see her do exactly that in Paris!
