The batting radar makes batting too easy. What I love about Don Bradman cricket is how realistic it feels when you play it. Defending the first few balls when you're new to the crease, settling in, and then going for shots. There's no doubt that there's a lot of scope for improvement, but DBC, in my opinion, is the best cricket video game to have been made so far.

Dharya Puri do you move the left stick and place it inside the circle and then? Just leave it at that or anything else? I just can't get any of the catches to stick. Am on a ps4.

When the ball is on a length, try punching it down the ground off the backfoot to rotate strike. I saw you had your mid on and mid off up and you kept hitting square. If the ball is on a length and outside off, you can charge the ball and hit the lofted straight drive.

The game is so buggy, I was on 99 on my QLD debut and the game bugged out and I was standing at the other end of the pitch with the non-striker but I was facing up, my middle stump got cleaned up and my controller almost ended up in 5 pieces😑
Just wondering if you know yet when the batters are running and the wickie has the ball is it square to smack the wickets I think it is but when I do it sometimes the wickie bloody throws it to one of the fielders.
I think you just press the button that corresponds, for example the keepers end is X if the keeper gets the ball just press X and he should do it and visa versa for the bowlers end

I’m an old ‘Shane Warne Cricket’ fan and loved to play test cricket by siming the bowling innings and just focus on batting. Is this game realistic enough to play this way do you think? Or is it more geared towards arcade style smash and bash? Cheers

Does not feel like you are in full control of the game like Cricket 07 by EA. In this game is all trying to score boundaries on any ball unlike in 07 scoring on the right deliveries.

Its just that I'd rather leave fielding to the ai when im bowling. If you are the fielder, fair enough, but the bowler is there to do the bowling.
