Imagine protesting for a group who kidnapped babies. But we're doing it peacefully they say.
Why even latch onto a chant that has such violent connotations in the first place when you're trying to be nonviolent and gain sympathy for your cause? It feels like all that could possibly accomplish is confusing the situation even moreso and making people who misunderstand even madder about such a sensitive topic.
Shouldn't college students understand concepts like language, phraseology, and debate well enough to be more choosey in their messaging?
