This is so cool and such a great talk! I have only been using R for about a year now, so I’m very good at it yet, but I actually understood the point of this talk and I plan on using this now! I think it’s really cool how you can share the environment with other people too, because I have been in remote r trainings before, where a script was sent out, but not everyone has all the same package versions on their computers. This is especially difficult for people who are just learning r and they don’t know what any of the warnings mean, and they can’t figure out why they can’t follow along in the tutorial. It looks like this might be a really good solution to that problem! Also, the version caching thing is very cool, I was wondering how much computer space it would take up if every project has its own library, genius!
Dear Dr. Kevin Ushey I have read one of your discussions about resolving of R file is blank and empty when opened. I have written and saved an R file and when I reopened again, the contents of the file are not seen (blank) and when opened it using notepad the only data seen also blank. I have installed the R 3.6.4. Tried to close and open in a new window and new session. nothing works. The file is not empty as the file size is shown as 78KB. Could you please help me to open the attached file? Best regards,

Excellent and good to know.
So renv is basically the virtualenv module in R?
Honestly still quite messy than other eco
without a separate R installation
How does this talk only have 7,900 views? This is criminally low.
Would love a copy of the slides! Is there somewhere I can get them?
