Facts!!! 🤘🏻🌀
Good answer
Right 😂
My favorite probably Aenima but love The Pot hard to pick get high and listen to Tool forever 😂
Well said.
I’ve seen them 13 times. First time was 1993 Lollapalooza at the UNO Lakefront arena in New Orleans before their first full length came out. Been a fan ever since.
Nice!!
Such an amazing song! For those looking to study Danny Carey more, here is an actively synced drum transcription of Forty Six & 2: ruclips.net/video/NRRgYZJRICw/видео.html
This is my favourite TOOL-song, mostly due to the drumsolo. I’ve seen them twice, in 2001 and 2006, and both times rocked!
I went to see TOOL in Milwaukee on Halloween Night 2019. Greatest show I’ve ever been to and dude, Danny is a monster of a drummer in person.
🤘🏻
I was there. Awesome show!
My favorite Tool song is whichever one I am listening to in that moment.
I saw them live during their Lateralus tour. It was at Madison Square Garden. 2001. One year away from graduating HS. I was working at the local CVS that night when a friend/coworker ran in and was like “Hey! We have these extra tickets for tonight’s Tool show.” The seats were for a special area (I forget what it was called… it wasn’t luxury suite but we had own space). My manager at the time was an understanding metal head and let me leave early and right at that moment. We booked it from north jersey into NYC for the show. It was AWESOME.
🤘🏻🤘🏻!!
They are amazing live!
I’ve been fortunate enough to see them in person many times. Going back to the undertow days.
They are an experience!
👏🏻🙌🏻🤘🏻
They are absolutely fantastic live. Saw them once in Hershey PA a few years ago and they blew my mind…the best “metal” performance I’ve ever seen.
ur the best and all tool songs are just above you ;) going to see them live nxt year finaly
I first saw them on the side stage at Lollapalooza in 1992 in STL. Saw them last year in STL, and 4 or 5 times inbetween. That's a range of 30 years. They're unbelievably good every time.
I have heard this before as well Coby about a thousand bloody times and every time It's freakin GOLD!
It’s like it gets better and better every time!
Danny Carey walks this strange tightrope between being insanely atmospheric and absolutely f*cking shredding. Sometimes simultaneously
lol good answer
If you're interested, Steve-o has a yt show called "wild ride" - he interviewed Maynard recently. Was interesting to hear of other aspects of his process and hobbies
Danny is the man. Tool is a band that puts out phenomenal albums but the live show is what it’s about. You can’t go wrong but I would like to see you do Aenema, Lateralus, or The Pot next.
Stay tuned!!
I've been lucky enough to see them twice... can't wait to see them again.
Nice!
This is the best Tool song EVER!!!
I had a buddy who had some tickets to see Henry Rollins (and special guest) in 1992 in Seattle. It was peak grunge time and I was not a big fan of Henry but we went anyway. Well, the opening band was Tool and they blew the f----g house down! We saw everything back in the day, Nirvana in bars, same with Soundgarden and everyone else but Tool was mind blowing. I bought the EP from Adam Jones and haven't missed a Tool tour yet! I still have the ticket stub and the EP from that first show.
I have traveled to see Tool many times but if you want the best venue ever?? It's the Gorge in WA State. Bucket list!
I first saw Tool around 1992 opening for Gwar at the Hollywood Paladium. Since then I've seen live them about half a dozen times. There are periods in my life that I associate with some Tool songs so it would be impossible for me to pick one. There are many songs that have made a serious impact on my perception of life and reality , my self-awareness, and of aging.
This album shaped my formative years. Beautiful
Descending, Tempest,Jambi, where to begin?
Zempest features Adams guitar but Danny is unreal also, lengthy but asskicking start to finish.Another drummer you should check is the drummer for Jinjer a Ukrainian metal band.Try their song Pisces live session to start with, reactor friendly and really coming into their own with many world tours. They are Ukrainian btw but their music is in English
Thanks for sharing!!
Favorite is still Stinkfist. Seen them live twice in Houston. Live Stinkfist is extended to a version they wish would have been the album version all along because they can still develop their songs down the road. Ps like your Quicksilver shirt. Use to rock that brand exclusively.
🤘🏻🤘🏻
My favorite song from them is sober I remember seeing it on MTV as a kid and it would scare me because of the little skeleton Man and the thing running through the pipe looks like a brain. Now I can't get enough it's a classic!!!!
Right in Two or Descending are a couple of my favorites. There are so many to choose from it's tough to pick just one.
One of my first favorites
I agree! Stay tuned in for more! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
To think...I bought one of their CDs because the cover was cool. The rest is history. I know I'm old.
This one or push it live. Next month at Rockville will be the 23rd time!
Favs: Lateralus, Jambi and Invincible
Favorite: every fraking one.

You'll have a different favourite Tool song every week 😄
FYI: YOU HAVE TO HEAR "YOU LIED off theur bix set "Salival" ir watch it live, and even xheck out"Muhammad my Friend" by Tori Amos guest starring Maynard. Also, you Have to HAVE TO check our "O'Keefe's kids playing 46 & 2, and skipknot- these kids are si anazingly talented - it's like nothing I have ever seen or heard before bro. LP from Boston
46 and 2 is the name of d
Adams favortie play his HS football team ran, this song is about hos transisition from tight end to running back.
What's my favorite tool song....? " Yes"
This happens to be one of my favorite tool songs, also my favorite album to drum along with, given im certainly no danny carrey.
Nice!
They are all amazing.. but I gotta go with “Sober”
Good answer!! Stay tuned in for more!!
Favorite Tool song is, yes
Great answer!!
Reflection is my favorite
Nice!!
Danny Carey is WITHOUT A DOUBT the BEST drumner if our generation. Up there with oast generations like John Bonham, Neil Oert, etc. and Maynard is an amazingly talented lyricist and has an incredible voive, tone, and emotion with the lyrics he writes, and Justin and Adam are by FAR the top of all games forever. Tool has been my favorite band since I was "alliwed" to listen to them at 13 years old though my parents didn't know what exactly their songs were about in '93 which is pretty much when Undertow came out, but then I went back and lustened to Opiate and have been amazed at EVERYTHING they do. Every single song is mind altering.
My fav Tool tune depends on my activity...
Good answer!! Stay tuned in for more! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

The one I’m listening to 😊
Q: What's your favorite Tool song?
A: Whichever one I'm listening to right now.
[EDIT]: Actually, "Right in Two" is prolly my fav. Just brilliant.
They really are all great but if I had to pick one, I’d say Pushit is my favorite, but don’t ask tomorrow because it could be different
Pretty much every Tool song is worth a reaction, but for you I'd say go for The Grudge next.
